Forgot to share last night’s arm workout! I’m pretty sure my arms are they biggest they had ever been in my life by the conclusion of this workout! Everyone remember to stay consistent throughout the whole Christmas/New Year season! You don’t have to get ready if you stay ready!
Did you watch Sonic 3 yet? It was the best out of the other movies, a perfect amount of action and humor (the first two movies were pretty good, but had cringey moments).
I haven’t yet, but definitely plan to! I’ve seen a lot of homages paid in the marketing to Sonic Adventure 2, which is my favorite game of all time! It’s got me hyped!
Really fantastic Upper Body day today. Going one armed on these presses felt fantastic and gave an extra level of challenge and extreme Pump. I’m very hyped for Christmas! Just one more workout before! Legs tomorrow and I know it’ll be brutal but I’ve got to Brute force my way onto the nice list! The nice and jacked list! I swapped the reverse flys with dumbbell skiers to hit my rear delts from a different angle. Also was running low on time, so I cut out Reverse band bench, because that would have taken a little bit to set up.
Merry Christmas Eve to all! Just finished up a bad ass leg session so I can barely walk for all of the upcoming Christmas festivities haha! The reverse lunge into squat superset was sick and twisted but fun at the same time. The instructions were to add a 45 to whatever you lunged with. So start with 25s for lunges, then throw on 45s for squats (185), 35s for lunges, throw on 45s for squats, 45s for lunges then an extra 45 for squats so you end up at 135/225. I used very short rest periods between sets at about 1 minute throughout session, so I was completely fried by the end of this! I’ve been picking things up with ab training lately. Intense, frequent ab training seems to be the best method for me when it comes to getting abs that look like bricks that have been laid into my stomach.
Hope everybody had an awesome Christmas! Got some Surge for Christmas, so hell yeah to that! I got this back session in after a big Boxing Day dinner. It was just what I needed! Low trap raises are definitely a move I’m going to keep in the repertoire to really hammer my mid/low traps. Also snuck in some work from the chest & shoulder pump session before a rest day tomorrow and arms on Saturday. Looking forward to hopefully a restful day tomorrow!
Can I get a “hell yeah brother” for arm day? This was an awesome one. Absolute sleeve splitting pump! Really enjoyed the Tri-sets here, that type of training really fits well with my personality. May hit some abs at home tonight as well. Nothing else really new, just training and loving it.
Hell yeah, brother!
I haven’t updated the log in a bit but I lifted Friday and yesterday and today. Just got back into the swing of things with full body muscle rounds and now I renew Creeping Death on week 4. Great lifts to start the week. Feels great to be back on track! Still working on regaining the weight that I lost in the week of not really eating. Strength has not really budged. I’m sure the weight will be back on pretty quick once my creatine stores are topped back off. It’s only about 5 pounds that I’m down but it’s frustrating when I was in the midst of a bulk. Just taking care of business and everything else will take care of itself.
Back day. Really Back to fully crushing it at this point. I very much enjoyed the low row/one arm pulldown superset! The Chest supported dumbbell row was an awesome move as well. Everything felt great and I had a phenomenal lat pump when it was all said and done. Did all of my dumbbell deadlift reps in a single set since I only had 100 lb dumbbells. That actually felt phenomenal too. No straps.
Well this wraps up my first full week of training since bronchitis. Felt extremely strong this week and have really emphasized food since I finally have my appetite back! Just happy to be back to it and feeling extremely strong. The pump was insane today and my whole body is very sore. I’m very happy about how well I’ve been able to stimulate everything this week. My focus has really been dialed in. Headed back to OK this weekend so I’ll be continuing my training back in my hometown gym! Very excited!
Quick “push” pump session today. Felt really good to get in there and get a great pump. It’ll either be Rest day tomorrow and legs Tuesday or Vice versa. Just happy to be in the gym training hard! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
I know I’ve said it before, but I love your passion and enthusiasm, man.
I appreciate that man! It’s such a vital part of my life that gives me health, strength, and enjoyment! I’m just thankful to be physically able to do what I love. It’s easy to take it for granted but being forced away from it really makes you thankful for every day you can get it in.
Legs were cooked today. Kept things moving quickly. Just went to Single set to failure on everything (except abs). I definitely prefer pouring everything into one set, but I only did that because I was rushing today, not because I’m a program miscreant or deviant. Getting up and down the stairs was a major struggle after this one!
dont talk to me about cooked legs. Two weeks off and the soreness today (Wednesday) after squat and Bulgarians on Monday is horrible. LOL
I have no doubt! I had pretty bad soreness last week after a week off due to bronchitis, but I’m sure two weeks off would’ve had me absolutely cooked! Glad you’ve been able to get back to it man
Me too, I am a much better human when I am training.
Chest and shoulders today! Absolutely outstanding lift! I was heavily inspired going into the session this morning after watching this last night:
This left me with a ton of break cues and things to keep in mind to help improve my chest training! I’m always trying to learn and improve and right now, nailing my form and biomechanics has been a huge point of emphasis. And if Sergio has room for improvement, I for damn sure do!
