lmao

Really only defaulting to type, I have always been a BB at heart. Found a picture of 16 year old me on the weekend. I was standing in my bed room at our family home and couldn’t help noticing the poster of Berry de Mey on the wall behind me. Pretty sure other kids had posters of a girl playing tennis.

That’s pretty telling!

I remember curling ammo cans and stuff, because it was super important my arms looked big while walking around a desert.

Alan Thrall recently got into Bodybuilding and he seems to be loving it as well. It seems like it just offers a new way to progress and take some load off your nervous system while becoming more of a jacked specimen. I think it’s exciting seeing you get into this style of training and making these muscle gains!

Had a fantastic back day today. Things got off on a rough start when I slammed my finger between two plates. Probably shouldn’t do that, hurt pretty bad. Chin up Death is always really fun, I can’t get enough of these Pull up variations! Went with straight up deadlifts today since I was supposed to pull from that height anyway and I had a hard time getting my safeties to that level in my rack. Felt pretty good even though I haven’t done a regular deadlift in a while. The whole compliment of exercises just really flowed well together today.

Moved super quick on this chest and shoulder day. Pushed the pace and got this puppy done in 45 minutes! Neutral grip Dumbbell Press felt amazing! Such a great stretch at the bottom! I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever had as good of a delt workout and delt Pump as I had today. Over and back press along with the dumbbell 6 ways was God’s gift from hell! Feel like I’ve been growing exceptionally well lately and that’s an unbeatable feeling. Chicken fettuccini Alfredo for dinner tonight. May do some monster mash later if I get Hungry again.

Good Lord almighty! This was a leg workout for the record books! Starting things off with a huge leg curl dropset was just brutal. Couldn’t even lift my foot behind me to a 90 degree angle unweighted, although this is always the case after leg curls. I just had a bit more in the tank for them today. Squats were fun and moving great until rep 5 of my top set. My lower back rounded a bit which really made that rep tough. I gutted out 3 reps after that, with the last two being ones where I just look to the ceiling and then prayed for survival. I racked the bar for about 30 seconds, got back under it and got my last two reps. I needed those 10 reps if it was going to kill me.

Also, holy hell… You guys need to seriously put some respect on Barbell Hack squats, especially when you do them as a drop set of death after a completely diabolical squat set. My quads were screaming in agony and I was sucking wind like an asthmatic vacuum. The leg extension Drop set of death actually felt like a bit of reprieve by comparison, although not to discount those, my quads were absolutely on fire like the depths of hell. Perfect Sunday Leg day. Safe to say I’m right with God after all of the praying and begging for forgiveness that came along with this session.

I was bookin’ It so my rest periods were about 45-90 seconds between exercises.

@simo74 absolutely love the reference! RIP by the way to Carl Weathers

Just ridiculously sickeningly pumped on this beautiful arm day. Got to incorporate some new movements which is always fun to me! The Preacher hammer Curl felt amazing and the Banded Overhead extensions finished off the best arm Pump I’ve had in a while.

Upper body pump day. This is definitely one of my favorite training sessions of the week. I enjoy the short rest periods, giant sets and supersets. I always get a phenomenal pump and feel super confident the rest of the day. Also, I think it’s time to up the weight on Bent over raises for sets of 12 or less. The 35s have just become too easy. I’ll add my 2.5lb Plate Mates next time!

Really good when the stance is close and you go really deep for that full stretch.

The burn that builds up just getting back into the starting position!! The craziest Quad Pump ever

you can also try to hang out in the bottom stretch position for time at the end of the set. You just need someone to lift the machine for you to get out.

Back day peeps. I was actually really hyped going into this workout. Had already finished training clients for the day so I was not in any kind of rush. I was just able to pour all of my focus and attention into the lift. Great getting back to one arm barbell rows. Did a lot of volume with them today which felt great, found my groove with the form and really pushed each set really damn hard. The Pulldown variation felt like sex for my lats, just amazing, focusing more on the contraction than the stretch. Dead stop dumbbell row felt incredible as well, as I just focused on maximally exploding the weight up and controlling the eccentric. I don’t have a way to do Barbell hypers, so I just freestyled and did an all out set of medium-wide grip chins. I also went balls to the wall on abs and calves but nobody cares about that.
