Beastly is right! The width of your lats in that shot of your back is incredible.
Keep up the amazing work.

Thank you guys! Just gotta keep working and trying to blow the me of the Past out of the water!
Yesterday’s push session was fantastic!! Put up some bigger rep numbers on Bench and incline. Everything was feeling so good and the cables were actually open so I could do incline cable flys. Those were amazing as well. Daisy chain Pushdowns took a step back in terms of numbers, but I was much more strict with the reps. Abs are super sore from those crunches on the GHR machine. I’m organizing my training with the principles from the John Jewett X-Frame program if anyone is wondering. Great, well-thought out program. I’m not following it to the letter because I’m not going to add any intensifiers or volume escalation right now and may even have to scale back as I get deep into prep, but it really prioritizes what a lot of the needs in my own physique are!
Amazing Pull day. Can’t believe the level of agony I was in for the last few reps of all of these sets. My lats were exploding with pump and ditto for my biceps and forearms. Not much else to say. Legs tomorrow!
This leg day was so brutally intense, I really thought I might puke. Was not expecting to get 20 extra pounds on squat for the same reps. My gym partners are definitely pushing me! Leg Press was so brutal, pain-wise even worse than the squat. I’m so happy with how this workout turned out and to now be on to my rest day!
Really kicked some tail these last two sessions I’ve hit! Love seeing the Training progress so well, even as calories continue to drop along with my bodyweight. I was progressing with reps in the tank on the first few sets of a few of these exercises, which to me, seems massive! I’ll gladly take the improvements without having to redline myself! No other real updates. Carbs are high and fats are lower to fuel Training performance And keep glycogen stores full. Leg day tomorrow!
Looking solid mate,
Going to tag @RT_Nomad cause I know he will appreciate the old school training approach and the look you are bringing and he’s a wealth of knowledge when it comes to BB.
Appreciate it brother. He’s such an awesome resource to have on this website. I’m definitely a big fan of his!
I have much to say, but will wait until tomorrow for most comments. My first thought when I saw this pose was the shape and fullness of your arm (forearm included) was as close to Larry Scott that I can recall seeing on anyone. I am sure many have told you that, if they ever idolized the perfect arms of Larry Scott.
That is obvious.
Do you have a back double biceps that better shows the detail in your upper back muscles?
There honestly is no greater compliment in my eyes. I genuinely appreciate that. I have gotten this a few times and it definitely means a lot because that’s certainly a look I try to capture!
Yes I actually just took this week’s check-in photos this morning
Are you flexing your calves in your back poses? Have you tried trying to grip the floor with your toes on the leg supporting most of your weight. That usually tightens your calf muscle, while you flex the other calf. That shows lines in both calves
I feel like I am when I’m hitting the poses but I don’t feel like it’s showing that well in the photos. I’ll try to remember that about squeezing the floor with my toes on my supporting leg. Thank you for the feedback
I also took an alternate version of the pose to see what looks better, The first one I focused more on contraction, which shows more detail, and this one I focused more on trying to display width. Curious to hear your feedback.
When asked to do the back double biceps you start showing thick upper back detail and then rather slowly proceed into the one with greater width.
I always set and flex my legs before I start the pose that is requested.
Forgot to Log my last leg session! This was a Hamstring-focused session again. That being said the kickstand split Squat is always probably the hardest part! That gets my heart rate way up and burns my quads like crazy. The RDLs do as well, especially because I pause them at the bottom, but at least both legs get hit at once and I get to rest right after. Went with the cables for the adductors to mix things up and load them heavier since I can get up to 20 now on the bodyweight variation. I’ll still keep those on the quad session because they’re good for hip mobility and creating internal rotation space in addition to the muscle growth stimulus for adductors.
Like the coppenhagen dips?
Yes exactly!
That’s strong as hell! I can never figure out how to do them correctly
I originally learned them from a video by John Jewett but I also saw Conor Harris promoting them recently on Instagram! I’ll add the link
