I think he (I think charlotte49er is a ‘he’ anyway) was referring to a concept by CT called ‘High Threshold Hypertrophy’, or HTH. Although I don’t know where the ‘full of sh*t’ comment’s coming from, all I’ve seen on CT’s forums on this site is praise for his work.

I don’t know if I have really paid any attention to who Dankid is, but I’d just like to note that his last training log entry (September 2009) included, “1) Illegally wide bench 2x6RM (205)” and, “I hit a +10lb pr from last weeks wide grip bench.”

If you’re not getting the point: It’s only been 5 months since then, he’s not that strong or big if he was PR-ing at 205 X 6. He also used 15’s for DB clean and a 25 for front raises.

Just sayin’.

Well according to his post at the link you provided tribunaldude, he’s doing a “version” of starting strength. Think it’s safe to say anyone personally utilizing starting strength shouldn’t be giving anyone else advice, unless it’s about their experience with starting strength.

I feel bad about doing this with dankid myself and thats why i asked my newest herald to start the thread. I gave dankid some advice on back training recently and he showed signs of improving his thinking. I even PMed him once asking him to talk less and listen/read more, and train HARD, and properly since a lot of us have been doing what we do for a long long time…I actually thought he would change, but after Bbriere and the other trolls egged him on in the Bb forum, the kid went berserk.

I obtained a lockdown on his full name, address, family, friends, social networks, online posts…and even saw him training with his girlfriend (I believe he has her on starting strength too) and debated NOT skinning him on T-Nation.

But when BBriere and the other trolls egged him on the “strength vs size” thread with the ‘join us’ comments (that HONESTLY is the worst thread idea of brick’s since it implies something WAY different from what BRick really wants to say) I lost me temper and Pmed my herald.

Could you tell me what you did to increase your mass? That 20lbs in two weeks sounds awesome broh!

Also, my tri’s tend to protrude much more than yours when I do an extension pose like that. Do you think I’m using too much weight? Any help you could provide would be beneficial.
