Dani's Rebel Log

Probably the microceratops or one of the other dog-sized dinosaurs because they’re so cute! How about you?

Omg that thing looks like it wants ear scratchies. You think it runs like a T-Rex or hops like a kangaroo?
I hope it’s like a kangaroo.

Probably the Ankylosaurus because it’s like a war turtle. I want to ride it like a horse.

Forget dinosaurs, this is important:

The left option seems weird: you could see things but not reach them. But the right is tricky too because it would make desks very tall.

Makes me think that these things didn’t even exist.

Oh my goodness the war turtle is SO CUTE!!!

I wonder if the armadillo is just a war possum. They don’t seem to belong in this era.

I’ve often wondered what a turtleneck looks like on a giraffe.

I also have a pet snake and have wondered where her collar would be… like where does the neck end and tail begin?
This has been the subject of many conversations in my household.

Okay but this is the reality for giraffes. They use their mouths to grab food. The long neck makes more sense.

Yeah, mainly because how would he wear pants?

That is the cutest snake I’ve ever seen. I would assume her necklace or collar would go directly under her head and the rest of her is tail.

Wasn’t there a cartoon or an illustrated book from the 80s or 90s and there was a snake that wore a red outfit that was basically just a tube of fabric?

Am I making this up?

No clue, but socks are both sleeping bags and footie pajamas for them.

Their rain coats are 99% effective at preventing dampness, too!

Sorry, I’m still a 9 year old at heart.

Had to call my mom to figure this out. It was a worm from the Richard Scarry books. Weird what the memory hangs onto. :joy:

What kind of jewelry do snakes wear?

A neckless necklace.

Chris, you can ban me now.

Love it.

Puns and word play are highly encouraged in my log.

This is the new Covfefe.

I’ll have to use this for people that apologize too much next time I go shopping.

Good idea! You should say it with a totally straight face. Also, we need a video.

That’s Lowly Worm. My son finds him hilarious. For some reason, his family is all cats.

That’s right! He lives in Busytown. I’m glad to hear those books are still a thing for today’s generation of kiddos.

Speaking of great stories, Chris and I just watched Harold and the Purple Crayon and it was delightful. Highly recommend.

If you don’t have a neck, are you even a giraffe?

Maybe the beta giraffes have necks but the Alpha Centauri don’t? Might not be a universal thing though.

If animal crackers taught me anything it is that giraffes and camels taste the same. (Hint: of vanilla.)
