SAME!!! I love Lilly Collins and all the crazy fashion. So tired of Camille. When will she just go away? ![]()
But, seriously. And why does Gabriel let her stick around?? Like, come on dude! lol
There’s already conspiracies around this, though no receipts for them. Kelce was a Pfizer cuck (to the tune of $1m per commercial… estimated $20m total) before they ever dated, but it really does seem suspicious.

^This is what peak masculine energy looks like, according to the FDA.
They probably both moan “oh Fauci” when she’s pegging him, though.
No one is surprised that Taylor went out in public support of Kamala. I mean, we knew that was coming. Ironically, swift has a more militant following than Trump. Don’t ask who’d win in a fight.
At least we’re not talking about how many miles she puts on her private jet anymore ![]()
Shit, she used to take a ride in it just to check the weather outside.
Probably. I think it doesn’t really matter who wins or loses, that fans will always keep watching - but I can say I cared more about the Patriots when they still had Brady (and a chance at winning).
Arnold and Weider kinda worked together to make bodybuilding popular too. It worked.
I particularly love raiders fans. I’m out here in ex-raider country and there is no such thing as a closet-raiders fan.
I swear, they come in to work looking like

You got an out-loud laugh from me for this. Well done, that doesn’t happen often ![]()
He can have her!
Chris and I decided that Gabriel is not even that attractive this season. It’s the hair covering his forehead. He needs to lose the bangs.
Let me know which episode you’re on because I don’t want to spoil anything! ![]()
I’m about halfway through Episode 3!
Also, if you haven’t watched Selling Sunset - that’s some high quality reality TV drama right there… lol
I’m sure you heard about the breakup contract that got leaked. It basically confirmed that there was an agreement for them to be a temporary couple. I can imagine what the benefits of a fake relationship would be for NFL viewership and an athlete’s popularity. That’s a win-win.
But I’m still not sure what it would do for Swift since she’s already filthy rich and he’s the most unattractive boyfriend she’s ever had. His height doesn’t make up for his horrifically tacky fashion choices… or this:
That is also unattractive. ![]()
But I guess not everyone can be as cool as this guy:
I know I know, different sport. Doesn’t matter. It’s all men chasing balls. And the ones who can think for themselves are superior. Also Novak Djokovic speaks 11 languages and has a beautiful family and beautiful abs.
The only good response to all of that: ![]()
HA! That was a good picture for them
YES!!! I win the day.
Story Time
What’s it called when a story teaches a lesson? Fable? Parable? Something like that. Anyway, I went to see my parents last weekend, and my dad told me a story that I couldn’t shake, so now I’m sharing it with you.
Back in the mid 70s, my dad worked as a motel manager in Winslow Arizona. I don’t know how he ended up there after getting some type of fancy theology degree.
But Winslow is not a destination. It’s a place you drive through, so it had hotels and restaurants. That’s kind of its main thing: lodging. Also, if you want to picture my dad in his 20s, all my aunts say he looked like a young Tom Selleck.
So anyway, my dad managed a motel and made $30 a week, which back then was enough to eat and live a simple life. Since he had no family of his own, Dad was the type that when offered a raise, he tried to turn it down because he had everything he needed.
And he took certain passages in the Bible quite literally.
But there was this family in town that would ask people for money. They went from motel to motel asking. And as you might imagine, the locals in Winslow got tired of dishing out, or maybe some never even started. But my dad had a reputation of generosity, so other motel managers would point them to my dad.
And he gave what they asked for. Repeatedly. Weirdly enough, they also weren’t shy about telling him why they needed the money: hubcaps, parties, etc.
He would lay in bed awake at night with his stomach churning because he got into a pattern of giving what little he had to people who were taking advantage of him. This wasn’t a family in need of food, this was a family who wanted to uphold appearances and have celebrations on other peoples’ dime.
So my dad reached out to a Christian mentor and learned that, no, you are not obligated to give everyone everything they ask for. He also learned a lesson about that queazy feeling you get in the middle of the night while realizing that what you’re doing is unsustainable, but you’ve already set expectations for people… who are going to think you’re mean when you don’t do what they want.
I don’t know if he actually thought that last part; I’m taking some liberties with this story. But the bottom line is my dad was a people pleaser and it kept him awake at night. Like father like daughter.
The other bottom line (since I like bottoms) is, if people only like you when you’re doing stuff for them, they aren’t really your friends. And if you stop doing favors for them, and they get offended instead of grateful for what you already did, that’s a sign they’ve developed a sense of entitlement over your time, resources, or effort.
Real friends won’t need anything from you in order to like you. And that is exactly what will make you want to help them when you can.
This morning, pumped and fueled.
You cannot convince me that MAG-10 isn’t magical. I’ve been drinking 3 a day and feeling like an absolute unit in the gym. Loads that I usually work up to are easy and I’m getting these powerful mind-muscle connections in every target muscle. At 140 calories, it’s a between meal appetite suppressant, and even just half a serving or a couple gulps in the middle of the night is enough of a caloric bump that allows me to fall back asleep. AND YET… sometimes I’ll drink it in the middle of the day for energy without caffeine. It basically does it all. Why was I not drinking this sooner?! Huge mistake.
Today’s Workout
Leg Press: 3 x 15, 12, 10
Cable Superset:
Straight Arm Pulldown (drop set once)
Tricep Pulldown
Superset:
Seated Cable Row
DB Arnold Press
Superset:
Seated Chest Press
External Rotator Cuff Thingy
Rear Delt Flye (pictured above): just one set to failure
So, I just discovered that my “straight arm pulldowns” are actually not straight at all. There’s a huge crook in the elbows, so it’s more like a stiff arm pulldown. Does it matter? Yes. Try both and figure out which one places the most tension in your lats and triceps.
I like to use this not-so-straight arm pulldown to fire up the lats at first, then adjust my elbows so that it hits the triceps more, which burns the crap out of your arms once you decrease the weight and immediately move onto the tricep pulldowns.
Other Fun Stuff
Our contractor friend brought us 10 pounds of trout. I reassured him that he doesn’t have to do this and that he is way too generous. He’s about 75, but I get the impression he’s a bit of a people pleaser. So… just making sure he knows we’re still buddies even if he doesn’t bring me fish.
Honestly… no doubt it works but the cost is simply far too high for most people. What have your results been with it?
Likely going to buy 2 bags to see the results
Totally understand.
Mostly just what I’ve been writing about: training feeling easier, appetite, consistent energy, and feeling more recovered between workouts.
I never took that last part seriously until recently. Getting old really sucks, and in the past few years I’ve had to skip workouts or lift like a grandma in order to just not feel depleted. Part of my improvements are a result of getting iron levels up and tracking hormones.
But the super thick layer of icing on the cake is casein hydrolysate, which is the main ingredient in MAG-10. It’s just nice to feel ready to lift every time I want to.
Awesome to see you giving it a shot. Let me know how it goes!
Okay, I said this but then realized it could also be the highly branched cyclic dextrin – which is the second ingredient – that’s been leading to the better recovery. I don’t know. I’m not a rocket surgeon.
You’re not old… stop the cap! Appreciate the feedback. I’ll give it a try. My workouts are low volume / high intensity. Never sore but if it helps grow muscle a bit faster, I’ll try it
Already use Surge… unlikely the carbs leading to recovery. I use hydrolyzed casein amino tablets by Beverly now but they’re a pain in the ass
It’ll be interesting to hear about your results for sure. There is some overlap between the two. I usually skip the Surge because of a Finibar addiction, but I might have to switch, and do Surge + MAG-10 like you.
Should be a solid combination! If I don’t put on 10 pounds of muscle in month I want a refund!
I want that too! ![]()

I grew traps instead of boobs, gotta capitalize on what I was given. ![]()
