Noms:

Meal 1: 3 eggs with cheddar cheese, a pack of oatmeal, 8oz whole milk with carnation breakfast powder
Meal 2: 1/2 box mac and cheese, 1 cup of beef chili
Snack: 2 apples
Meal 3: 1 pint of chinese food with rice, bottle of coke
Meal 4: 1/2 box of mac and cheese, 1/2 pound of ground turkey

Topped it off with homemade brownies with funfetti frosting.

Disgusting AND awesome at the same time.

^^Weak sauce so far. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Didn’t have time to make breakfast or lunch before work. Then got into an awkward situation with a co-worker. So basically, I’ve been pissed all day. Perfect for setting PRs.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this in my log but I restarted 5/3/1 with lower maxes after the meet hence the lame pressing weight. However, I hope to smash all weights over the next month or so and beat my old rep PRs.

Notes: I feel oddly aggressive/emotional this week and I’m wondering if it’s from the increase in calories or just a reaction to a stressful situation at work. I am just so happy that I have lifting in my life right now. It’s definitely controlling the crazies.

I think you look awesome :slight_smile: What kind of changes do you want to see with working out? More muscle? More toned? If you want the extra muscle you have to feed your body so it knows it has more energy to burn on building it! :slight_smile:

I totally thought i just wanted to weigh a particular weight… got there and, um, NO!

Now I know I need WAY MORE MUSCLE and yes it IZZ kinda fun eating and lifting and gaining strength… its a mindfukk fo sho but its part of the process for me at least.

How have your strength gains been? If you’re gaining strength you ARE gaining muscle.

I will tell you from thd pic on this page you are NOT overfat ATALL really quite lean!

I want wayyyyyyyyyy more muscle. I care little about the fat on my body unless it gets really out of hand. I want a bigger back and bigger legs. I am getting stronger and I just recently changed up my diet so hopefully in the next year I can put on some muscle.

YES!! I love hearing all you girls getting your eat on!! This makes me super happy, like a proud mama bear. Make me wanna bulk tooooo! pout But no, I don’t think it suits my body type and my goals right now.

Anyways, your training is sick, girl! Its true, your enthusiasm jumps at you and I LOVE it! And you’re having great workouts. Go you!!

BTN snatch press (or whatever) does sound fun! Kind like a drop snatch…god I miss those!

I’ve been oddly emotional/agressive as well, maybe it’s the stress of the season combined with your work situation. Hopefully you can get some rest in this weekend, and have your BF give you a little TLC to take the edge off :smiley:

Meal 3: Wendy’s: cheeseburger, french fries, chocolate frosty shake
Meal 4: 3eggs, cheddar cheese and 3 bacon

Notes: I got a promotion today! More responsibilities and more money!! I’m really excited and nervous at the same time. Balancing a challenging full-time job and starting grad school (AND TRAINING) is going to be insane. Funny how just my last post was pretty negative about my job but hopefully with my new position, I will not be working as closely with the co-worker that has been giving me a hard time.

Have you ever played around with band work? It’s really great for doing volume work with and can be very versatile. If you’re all about building muscle then get your mindset on volume. Body building mentality! Keep a heavy lift in your workout just to keep your overall strength up, but start getting into the circuit using lighter weights than normal for higher reps. Circuit training and super setting are your friends.

Oooh, Wendy’s cheeseburger AND chocolate frosty shake?! Don’t mind me while I drool a little bit. Lol :slight_smile:
