Final thoughts:

Yes, it is weird that heavy, compound sets are easier on the joints than 10 pound triceps kickbacks. But, think about the elbow injuries that tennis players have, say, versus elbow injuries in wrestling. “Everybody” gets tennis elbow, but rarely do you hear wrestlers complain about elbows, even though someone is trying to break it.

On the Forty Day workout, don’t get too brutal with your choices. Don’t do this:

Deadlift
Squat
Clean
Snatch
Farmer’s Walk

Well…I guess you could, but you want to come in and do the workout ‘sometimes’ without a bunch of focus an concentration. (Why?..because you do the same thing for 40 days…there are days where you get in total “Yoda-mode” “Do, or don’t do, there is no try”)

That’s why I think you should have two major moves and simple moves for the rest…
