This article hints at Dan Henderson moving into the UFC middleweight ranks and being a potential opponent to Anderson Silva this year. Anybody hear anything about this?
If Henderson does move, I predict a quick transfer of the middleweight belt.

It’s pure speculation I think. I’d love to see it though. Hopefully Dan won’t get destroyed by another bigger Silva next weekend!
This is supposedly why Pride has him fighting Wanderlei next, they don’t want him fighting and beating any of their star 185ers before he leaves. Or at least that is a rumor being specualted on around the web.

That seems kinda stupid to me. Wanderlei is Pride’s second biggest star, so if Henderson beats him and then moves to the UFC, it’d be even worse for Pride.

It is kind of shitty that one of the best American fighters of all time is a complete unknown here. Barnett at least got his name out there before leaving for Pride, but Dan is like a ghost. He’s a great guy, a great fighter, and looks like a medieval foot soldier. I hope he gets to represent before he retires.
