Did a 10.62km mtb with the old man this am. Lot of climbing, heart rate got up there.

Yesterday was pretty chill. Did an hour long walk with the famil, had the newborn in the carrier so does that count as rucking?
Then in the pm i played “footy” with the older one for 20mins, aka me running around and kicking th ball and pretending to be tackled. I wore my garmin for kicks and my heart rate was surprisingly high, guess its all those sprints across the yard.
Most definitely!! And you had great company too!
Well it doesn’t get better as far as company. It’s always a catch-22 of wanting them to be a little to bigger to be able to do more stuff, and not wanting them to grow up so damn fast!

I’ve made one tweak - swapped Deadlifts out for power cleans. The lighter weight seems to be kinder on the back at the moment.

Weekend update
Friday Night i did a 41km bike ride. No real reasoning as to why haha. Was a flat course so nothing crazy, just lots of good heart work.
Saturday i did 6.1.2 - cleans and bench. Moved well, back feeling good.
I am trying to strictly implement Jim’s 50 reps of assistance per category - I’ve always overshot on some and undershot on others, but got to trust coach.
Sunday I took a rest day as a did a day trip with the young fam to see some friends.
