We can’t, what, have an opinion on how kids act in public and how strangers react to that behavior?
No dude, not that at all. Once you become a parent and raise a child you enter another level of loveing another human being imho. I have trouble getting my thoughts down on the screen because that barely makes sense lol.
Let me put this another way, I stole these sentiments from an actress on TV who had recently become a parent. She was describing her love of her husband who she felt she loved more than anything and that love couldn’t be topped. Then when she was at home with the new baby and her hubby she said to him " this is going to sound terrible but I hate you in comparison "
I would have found this cunts behavior worthy of a beating before I became a father. Now that I am and have been for eighteen years I would prefer the man be shot.

Edit: I should have just kept putting “X2” whenever BG posted lol, I feel the same way he does it’s just he’s way better at this than me.

Would anyone’s opinion change if the father had simply knocked the kid on his ass with one hit and walked away with the kid laying on the ground wondering wtf just happened?
Others may think differently, but my opinion wouldn’t change because I’m looking at Gary’s motives for adjudicating the fight. I believe those motives were selfish and he wanted to establish himself as top dog in front of everyone present.
He clearly wasn’t disciplining the kid. He went primal after losing face.
Plus, where was the beaten kid’s dad? I have a sneaking suspicion he was one of the fat fucks hanging around with a stupid smile on his face, too scared to intervene though he wanted to
If that’s true, the kid has far bigger balls than his father. I don’t want to believe that the other father was present yet stood by and did nothing.
But back to the thread, you don’t even need to see the video of the dude beating up the ‘rival’ kid, the fact he would agree to referee a street fight involving his kid should be enough evidence for people to discern the dad is a scum bag.
Oh, 5 bucks this was posted on worldstarhiphop lol.

Ha, right.
For the record, I did some sleuthing and apparently the guy filed a totally incorrect police report, saying that the kid swung at him first - so that’s another charge they’re adding on.
I could see taking the kid down forcefully and letting him know he fucked up, but clocking him then doing the frantic sissy punch tantrum was a complete loss of control.

16 years aren’t kids IMO…more like ‘trainee’ adults, all of these idiots should probably get in trouble.
What in the flying fuck does this have to do with the thread? Seriously. Idiot.
If you call someone an idiot for thinking 16 is almost and adult I’d love to see what kind of things you call people in other threads that I dunno, say racist things or something else a lot more controversial.

It was an over-reaction, yeah, but it was also one of the most lazy and “totally-missed-the-point-of-the-thread” responses I’ve ever seen. That’s why I stand by it and don’t apologize for it.
Nards wrote:
But he agreed they were all idiots. I mean the adult is of course a bigger idiot, but those 16 year-old are idiots too, just well, younger idiots.
Haha, very true indeed. I want to know who all the other people were at the house as well, it seemed like there were at least a handful of other “adults,” (again, using the term loosely here lol)
Either way, it’s crazy how fast information is readily available these days, seriously. One Google search of the big fella’s name and you can find countless articles / blogs about all of this, and to think it only happened 2 days ago.

I would have been totally fine with that.
When I was 16 I trained in a very rough boxing gym, and if anyone of any age got like the kid did with the reff, nothing would happen, but when it was quiet and nobody was there they’d get a total pounding, situations and ages where pretty similar to the one in the video, the difference? No video.
My best friend loved to fight when we were younger (20’s, college). He also didn’t have a very reliable internal barometer to measure whether his action was justified or rash, or at least that it could be safely executed without his going to jail, and so tended to get himself into a lot of trouble. However, he had his moments of genius.
Once, we were driving to his house, and a skater kid about 12 years old was in the street and just wouldn’t get out of the way, clearly on purpose. My friend, who is 6’4" stopped his car and got out and into the kid’s personal space, but this little shit was unfazed. He was like a character out of a Harmony Korine film, staring right back, defiant, saying something to the effect of, “What the fuck are you gonna do about it, you can’t do anything to me.” So my buddy does what any normal human would have done in that situation.
He hacked up a monstrous green loogy and spit it full force into this little shit’s face. Got back into the car and we were on our way.

And then his “big brother” showed up to the courts the next night.
Which ended how?
Nothing. He showed up with another guy and they actually played in a game or two before leaving. I remember running thru him, repeatedly when he was setting screens or picks. He did nothing. He said nothing. I don’t believe he had any real chance of fighting me if that was the intention, but I do believe he was very discouraged by the company I kept so who knows what his intentions would have been. Too proud/stupid not to leave, not dumb enough to start anything. Just kinda the pink elephant in the room/on the basketball court.
I don’t know if I posted originally, but the police did contact me by phone. I told them exactly what happened. Nothing came of it but they didn’t press charges either. Kid got in my face barking, I just grabbed his face and shoved him away. I mugged him. No more, no less. He was 16 if I remember correctly.
Back yard redneckism aside - why the fuck do people insist on recording stupid shit like this and getting themselves into trouble? What were they going to do with this video - put it on youtube? Watch it after their cajun chicken dinner for good wholesome family lols?
Reminds me of the Bobby Joe Blythe dojo recording, just, nowhere near as bad obviously and it seems to be a growing trend.
Bobby Blythe and Epic Beard Man (girl at the back of the bus who robs him) are two that spring immediately to mind.
