Cyniq's Cycle Log...

I want to record a few details of my first cycle, primarily for the purpose of soliciting a little advice as I go. Feel free to ask any questions and offer whatever advice seems appropriate.

Iâ??m 32, been training consistently for a little over 3 years (off and on prior to that). 6â??1â?? usually 180 at about 12%, but Iâ??m down to 174 right now cause I spent the last week in Mexico off my diet drinking margaritas and cerveza Sol. I Bench 245, Squat 255, DL 390. I do not have an â??arm dayâ??. I know youâ??ll be tempted to criticize my numbers, but I had to TRAIN my way up to 1 proper pushup and 1 proper pullup. To say that I am not strong by nature is an understatement of tremendous proportion. And if you canâ??t tell, thereâ??s no internet bullshit here, Iâ??m going to be brutally honest, and I appreciate comparable feedback.

Cycle:

Sust 250/Deca 50 E3D
Arimidex .25 EOD
PCT with Clomid, also have Nolvadex

Iâ??ve got the preloaded syringes, 1ml each. Yesterday morning, I ended up jabbing myself 3.5 times before I managed to get 2mls of fluid in my ass. First time, I thought, â??I wonder if I shouldâ??ve squeezed the plunger until a little bit of fluid came out?â?? so I pulled the needle out, squeezed the little plunger, reswabbed but didnâ??t change the needle, and jabbed again. It really hurt the second time, so I only got the needle in about a ¼â?? before I pulled it out, yet again, and finally found the first injection its proper home. The second injection went much more smoothly.

This is obviously day 2. I had a great workout this morning, and a decent one this evening. I Crossfit regularly, so I often workout twice a day to get my strength training in. Is it possible that Iâ??m already feeling affects from yesterdayâ??s dose?

Iâ??ve got some soreness at the injection site, running up into my lower back, and around the outside of my hip. It seems very minor; thereâ??s no bruising, no swelling, no rednessâ?¦ and at the moment, Iâ??m attributing it to the fact that I poked myself with an 18 gauge needle 3 times.

Alsoâ?¦ I often have issues with my left hip, and right shoulder. I didnâ??t experience real trouble with either today. In other words, I would say thereâ??s been improvement. That was my primary reason for running the low dose Deca, hopes that it would help with some of my joint issues (as many seem to believe). At this point, Iâ??m skeptical, and wonder if my perceived improvement is psychosomatic. It could also be that Iâ??ve been â??restingâ?? in Mexico for a week.

Thatâ??s it, feedback of any kind is welcome and desired.

I’d increase the deca dose if it’s a possibility… 300mg would help you with muscle growth also.

Have you visited a chiropractic about your hip and shoulder? I’ve had problems with the exact same body parts and they were linked to each other.

Good luck with your cycle! I did a similar cycle as my first one, with 400mg deca and some dbol added to the mix.

Had a pretty good workout this morning. But it was a Xfit thing, so no PR’s or anything. I don’t know exactly how to judge how well I can OH lunge when I never perform the movement.

Just did my 2nd round of injections. Decided to bump up the Deca to 200mg per wk, so I injected 100mg today. It’s probably better this way anyway, cause I’ll finish up my Deca a wk and a half before the Sust.

Also decided to rotate cheeks, even though I’m no longer sore from Tuesday’s injection. I anticipate all dorsalgluteal injections, and since I’m uncoordinated as fuck on the left side, I let my wife stick me this morning (she loved making jokes about finally getting to put it in MY ass). She turned me into a pin cushion. We drew up blood in the syringe twice and restuck those. My ass hurts a bit at the moment…

Try your VG

the ventro glute scared me quite a bit at first but it is one of my favorite spots to shoot now.

Shooting the VG seems scary, no doubt. I looked at some videos but they’re all of women, my hips don’t look anything like theirs. If anyone’s got a link or a diagram or a recommendation, I’d appreciate it.

I DL’d last night. Felt strong, although I came just shy of a 3rep PR.

This morning I did pullups. +45# 5x5, dropped the weight and rep’d out some more sets. All with very little rest. I rested only 60sec, which is fast for me w/ an xtra 45#. Then cable rows and other backwork. Even though my back was a little fatigued from the DL’s, I felt good.

No trouble from the shoulder. Is it the deca?


Find the illac crest and go down and inch or two. I always do mine seated and its cake to do it. When seated everyone with any mass with have that muscle protude out a bit an inch or two down from the IC. Find it poke it in all the way with a 1.5" and you’re golden

Also, I’m currently injecting 3mls at a time, because I bought preloaded syringes. (I’ll never do that again, by the way, it just seemed easier initially.)

I’ve seen suggestions that 3mls should be separated between different injection sites. I’ve already done a DG 3ml injection (yesterday) and it’s sore, but doesn’t seem like a big deal.

Any input on that?

3mls of oil is a lot of volume and IMO only the DG and VG can handle it. Do you have extra needles?

As in, I’m good if I stick with those areas for this cycle? Like I said, I’ve done it once already and it doesn’t seem to be a problem.

I don’t have any extra needles now, but I can get some, that’s too easy.

I’m getting some more Deca in 10ml vials, so that I can finish my cycle at the 200mg per wk dose. But I’ll still want to run the 50mg/ml preloaded Deca syringes, cause I have them, you know?

What if I did the sust250 in my glutes and 1ml deca in each delt or quad?

I injected 3ml in my glutes twice a week, rotating from right to left side, it worked fine for me but maybe I will use quads too next time so I don’t have to use the glutes so many times :slight_smile:

Well… I’m still chicken. Today I shot 2mls in my right glute and 1 in the left. First injection in the right glute bled a lot. I aspirated, so I know I didn’t shoot straight into a blood vessel. But I must’ve punched through one. I’m assuming this is fairly common?

It was squat day. I’m flirting with PR’s, but no tremendous strength gains so far.

Try the VG almost never bleeds

Try doing the injection on the upper part of the glute, needle going ALMOST straight down, that was the best place for me. If you aren’t injecting there already :slight_smile:

Feel like a badass today. The gym was awesome. I did back/bis today and felt strong as fuck. I added 10lbs to my pullups over last week and rep’d exactly the same but had more stamina in my horizontal pulls and ancillary work.

I’m horny as hell too.

Tried the ventrogluteal injection today. It went well for the most part. Not sure if I like it though. I shot 2mls on the left and 1 on the right. My hips feel strange, hard to explain, but it’s basically the same feeling I get in my glutes post injection so I guess it’s normal. Seems more uncomfortable in this location though.

Gotta find what works for you best and you wont know if you can deal with an injection site till you try it

I went strictly by the videos/diagrams that I saw. But that put the injection site in the indentation just above the muscle that you described when you explained your VG injection procedure.

It feels much better now, maybe I’m just being a pussy. I’ll try the VG again. I may follow your directions next time, rather than the videos.
