Honestly? Mostly cause I’m dumb. I really jumped the gun with this cycle. I used to regularly post on meso and OM, and I remember Swale’s protocol (I wanna say they called it “Power”? HCG, Clomid, Nolva). Which, I’m sure is optimal. But I also know that a lot of guys get away with a Nolva or Clomid only PCT.

Isn’t what I’m proposing basically the oft prescribed 40/40/20/20 adjusted for Clomid? I have Nolvadex too, just more Clomid than Nolva. Although… I suppose I can get whatever you recommend within a few weeks. I thought I was keeping it simple.

I copied the post from my other thread. Given the way that thread was going, I’d rather have whatever input you have on the subject of PCT in this thread as opposed to the other one.

Would you recommend the taper + SERM protocol listed in the sticky at the top of this forum? If so, do you see any trouble with me switching from Sust to Test E for the stasis/taper period? Since the Sust I have are 250mg/1ml preloads, that would be a pain in the ass to try and taper with… I think.

Yes tapering with enan is better if you can get some. Obviously you dont need but a few mls to taper off. Honestly, when I did the taper I didnt use a serm and I was fine. The slower you do it the better. I mean you can use the SERM as directed but you dont have to

I’m getting much more proficient at the injections. I’m noticing some size and strength improvements. I have gained about 7lbs since the start of the cycle, which is sick, but I was down from my usual bodyweight by about 5lbs originally (due to vacation)so some of it may just be getting back on track with my eating schedule.

Yesterday I noticed a little soreness in my right nipple in particular. I had been taking .25 adex EOD. Yesterday I took .5 and this morning I took .25. I’m thinking I’ll go at least .25 ED for the remainder of the cycle, but if there’s no change tomorrow or it gets worse, I may order some Letro or something. I pm’d Saps for advice. If anyone else has input, shoot.

I’ve been taking .25mg Adex every day. Nipple sensitivity seems to have reduced. I’m no longer panicked about getting gyno.

My lifts have gone up this week. I rarely test my 1RM as I’m content with my 3rep and 5rep which are the ranges I predominantly work in. Yesterday I DL’d 405# which I’m stoked about cause the 400lb threshold has been fucking with my mind. It felt good.

Today I squat’d 245 for 5 reps. They were slow, I took a couple of breaths between the last two. That’s the best 5 I’ve ever done by 20#.

Damn, big ups for that one. I haven’t taken deca rather just NPP and it does wonders on strength with less achyness from it. Glad to your hear your making great gains on this cycle.

Things have been going well. I’ve gained 18# so far, give or take and hope to clear 200# for the first time ever by the end of this cycle. My weight gain appears to be pretty clean. My bf is about the same, low double digits. I can tell I’ve got some water retention, watch fits tighter, waist slightly larger, but it doesn’t seem too bad.

I’ve put 1.5" on my arms which I’m absolutely thrilled about. And I’m up about 50# on my squat. Can’t complain at all.

I’m very nervous about coming off now though. I just got some Test E, so I’m getting prepared to use that for my taper in a couple weeks.

I’m basically stronger everytime I get into the gym. But my weight gain has stalled and I’m retaining water and feeling like I need a hug…

This morning I had to bail out of a heavy DL workout because my lower back got so pumped and swollen that I could hardly move. I opted for some pullups and seated cable rows instead. I’m assuming the lower back issue has something to do with the water retention (which I’m beginning to feel in my face even as I type this). Suggestions?

All this has left me suspicious that I’m not sufficiently controlling my estrogen levels. So I think I’m going to take .5 adex per day for the next few days then drop down to .25 ED for a few days and see how I feel. (That’s up from .25 EOD, with the occasional extra day skipped just to assess tolerance.)

Try Taurine, some people claim it is useful for managing back pumps (the culprit is usually dbol).
