Guys do I have to bulk or cut on gear I’m currently planning on take 500 test & some var but I’m wondering if I can just eat my maintenance would I still gain muscle at my current body weight or I have to cut or bulk
No you don’t necessarily have to change maintenance, but you’ll likely be consuming more calories naturally on 500 test if you hit the gym harder. Maintenance and upping test may result in some beneficial recomposition but adding a few more clean calaories would be where its at. Anabolics are for growth unless you are preparing for a stage comp.
IMO, the most important thing to do is to take full advantage of the AAS. Foremost important diet strategy is to eat sufficient protein while on AAS no matter what you want your body composition to do. That is make your protein at least 1 gram per pound of your body weight. You have the most success eating protein 5 to 6 times a day.
I never counted calories, but always monitored feedback indicators.
- Strength (Eat enough carbohydrates to never lose strength. You should get stronger on AAS, always)
- Scale Body Weight (Allow it to drift higher slowly if you are getting stronger)
- Mirror (Always look better each week than you did the previous week.)
If you are not getting stronger, you are not eating enough carbohydrates.
If you are not looking better but only fatter, you are eating too many calories.
I will say that I never intentionally allowed myself to look fatter taking AAS. I always looked better weekly if I took AAS. I believe it is a poor choice to get so fat that you cannot see major body part separation.
You need to eat and train for your goals. If you don’t know how to do that then you have 0 business using steroids. Not trying to be a dick but I would hope you’ve done enough research to understand how to grow and how to lose fat.
you do whatever your goals require you to do. if it’s a first cycle, I’d advise against cutting. but if you’re fat and you need to drop weight then yeah, I’d do that.
