Cycle for BJJ

Looking for advice and feedback on a cycle, for a bjj tournament in 8 weeks (untested).

Was thinking:

300test/200EQ. May seriously consider going lower on this though
20mg cardarine
20mg tbol 4 weeks out
10mg halo 1 week out
4iuhgh/hcg

Wanted to hear feedback more on the halo and test/eq dosage, I think I have it dialed in otherwise. Focus on endurance really.

Have you ever taken steroids before? If so, how many cycles, what did you take, how did you respond? Have you used any of the compounds you mentioned above?

@rusty_hammer: Yes I’ve taken steroids many times over the years, countless cycles. I’m experienced with almost all of them - except halo, eq, and tbol, as I’ve always cycled for strength and BB rather than endurance.

I’ve tried a few orals, and I generally heavily avoid them. I’d rather use injectables, but almost all steroids hurt cardio except EQ which I can only take so much given it’s strong AI effects, and the fact I can’t really go above 300test since it purportedly hurts cardio. So that’s why I’m taking up tbol and halo, when normally I’d never use an oral.

But I’ve done dozens of cycles, I usually stick with low tren, dhb, test as my normal cycle these days. Have done ment, primo, some of the orals, npp, mast, etc etc etc done many many cycles. Done plenty of hgh, hcg, insulin, etc.

8 weeks is not enough time for EQ given its half life.

Cardarine is a good option.
Look into Nebivolol.
Slupp as well

Test does not hamper cardio….its the associated sloppy diet and potential water retention that makes it seem that way. Easily avoidable.

Metlylene blue is another one to look into.

I don’t know how halo is going to effect your endurance/performance. All I know is everyone I know who has taken it turned a sickly shade of grey and had high blood pressure. They were strong as f*ck though for their max attempts.

I don’t know why people keep saying this

EQ takes about ten weeks to reach steady state, but in that time you are pushing up androgen index very significantly

You don’t have to wait five half lives for it to “kick in”

That’s like saying “my endocrinologist prescribed me testosterone undecanoate for trt but I won’t feel any better until 6 months in because that’s how long it takes to reach steady state”

By week 4 on EQ you are already at 75% of how high concentration can get in… if you front-load you can get to steady star in 2-3 weeks anyway

8 weeks of EQ might not be the most optimal plan… but it still works

You could run 500mg test for 6 weeks and still see decent improvements

Particularly if OP is on trt as many will say “if you are going to shut down HPTA, you ought to optimize every facet of your cycle in order to maximize accrual of new lean mass.

One can take a look at studies where nandrolone decanoate is administered weekly for only like six weeks and all participants gain quite a bit of lean mass

I think this statement is made because you are using it in a “non ideal” manner. Agreed it will work, but theres better options for that time frame no?

I agree it’s not optimal. You could use a bit of primo instead, or NPP

With combat sports higher doses are often a hinderance

I think Craig Jones (Aussie BJJ phenomenon who now owns a gym in Texas) takes like 100mgs or test and 100mgs of deca

Think he takes 200/200mg and 25 or 50mg of Oxandralone. Listened to a podcast awhile back on it. Think with JRE or Lex.

Isn’t that his competition/cycle dose though? The 100/100 being his cruise to help recover faster from training

Ahh ya. Totally could be. I was referring to his cycling doses.
