I was curious to find out who some of the key players are in this lumped together steroid/andro witch hunt when I ran across the name Dr. Gary Wadler.
Dr. Gary Wadler is a New York University School of Medicine professor who is making “a concerted effort to educate the public about the dangers of anabolic steroids.” (1)
Dr. Wadler seems to have some political pull as he serves as a consultant to the U.S. Dept. of Justice on AAS use. Aside from that his name pops up in numerous steroid related articles ranging from espn.com to CNN.
As an advocate of doing something besides bitching on forums when the ‘man’ slaps me down I thought it would be interesting to get a hold of Dr. Wadler and pit him versus T-mags very own Cy Wilson.
I have no idea what would come of it but here are some thoughts…
- Most of Dr. Wadler’s articles deal with actual AAS, not prohormones. Perhaps his views do not translate over into prohormones and he would be willing to say so.
- Dr. Wadler could argue with Cy and science and continue to insist that AAS is dangerous for humans.
- Dr. Wadler could point out T-mag’s steroid friendly environment and perhaps use it as ammunition
- OR maybe, just maybe Dr. Wadler could see through the fog and see the facts and leave with a slightly different and highly sought out viewpoint on prohormones or AAS.
Just a thought…take it for what it’s worth.
