I’m on week 4 of Chad Waterbury’s Total-Body Training. On the first day of the week, there are 2 sets of 18. I was wondering what I should do for hamstrings during this day. He recommends deadlifts for hamstrings but I heard that it is a bad idea to do high reps of deadlifts. I was thinking of doing glute-ham raises but CW has them listed as an isolation. I don’t feel comfortable doing good-mornings which he also suggests so I was wondering what should I do?
Using the same program, I’ve done 18-rep Romanian deadlifts, which have worked very well. My only complaint is that the weight I could do was more limited by my grip strength than anything else.
