Cutting with Hot-Rox Extreme

Hey guys,

Tried searching for an answer to this question, cuz I’m sure it’s been asked before, but I couldn’t really find a definate concrete answer.

I’ve been taking HRX for about 4 weeks, been on my diet for about 4 weeks past that. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to cycle off HRX for a week or two or just stay on it? Just trying to figure out what is optimal.

EDIT: Probably shoulda posted this in the supps/nutr after tihnkin about it…oh well.

Keep running it. To reap the benefits of the Carbolin 19, one needs to stay on this stuff for an extended period of time (2-3 months).

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

If your taking HRX for the thermogenic properties (which yo ushould be or your wasting money) then I’d say to stay on it until you are closing in on your weight loss goal.

If you come off it and keep yoru diet/training going afterwards you will still drop a few more pounds anyways. Weight loss isn’t something that starts “all of a sudden” and then comes to a screeching halt. it comes to a slower stop then most think.

So I say to just run through your HRX but monitor your goals vs. your weight/bf%

I’ve never been on it for longer then 2mo. But I only wanted to lose 15lbs.

Yes, I’m on it for the Thermogenics.

I’ll stay on it then. Thanks!

HRX has Carbolin 19 in it.

Same here. Last year, I used HOT-ROX for two months straight (in the very beginning of my cut) and everntually hit a wall about 12 weeks in. I’ve seen suggestions from almost everywhere to cycle stimulants in and out of your diet.

I would suggest that you stop using it when you stop noticing the thermogenic effect/fat loss. Take a break from it and add it back in a few weeks if further fatloss is needed.

It’s pretty tough to tell whether I hit a wall or not, especially cuz I’m going by mirror look. Scales are just too unpredictable with water weight. Fat Loss is such a slow process for me.

Do you guys recommend getting fat calipers?

Honestly, probably not. Not unless you can find someone that has some experience using them. Use the mirror 1st as a guide and the scale second. In the past, water weight really screwed with my progress. If I woke up one day “puffier” I assumed I was fatter and blamed my diet. Also, if my weight haden’t gone down I must’ve done something wrong.

I’m much more confident now and know that my plan will work, its just a matter of time. I’m much more precise and my meals have the same food choices and sodium levels (which helps keep my sub-Q water around the same). My water intake is also pretty much the same every day as well.

I also only weigh myself once a week before breakfast to try to eliminate flucuations. Is all this needed? NO. It CAN help keep your mind alittle sane’r when dieting down, because your mind is your biggest obsticle during this time.

Yeah sometimes I looked fatter some mornings and im like “fuck, I’m gaining weight” but i usually chaulk it up to fluctuating sodium levels from day to day. I’m not usually big on measuring food with a weight scale, but I guesstimate protein n such and it’s been working so far.
