Cutting on 200 Test/wk - training protocol

How much ‘easier’ should it be to cut (aprox. 400cal below maintenance, 6 weeks) when on just 200mg Test per week versus natural?

Specifically, what (significant or insignificant?) effect would this small dose of Test have on maintaining muscle and should I be training very differently to how a completely natural person would to keep muscle and lose the usual 1 to 1.5 lbs of fat?

Stats:
6’1" - 216 - 16.3%bf with Dexa

Training when on slow bulk (most of the year): push/pull split 4 days week with squats, bulg.split squat, deadlifts and RDL divided over each split

It’s not any “easier”. Steroids don’t burn fat.
The only time you need gear when dieting is if your low BF(7-8%) to keep from burning off muscle. Other than that there is no benefit other than better recovery.
At 16%bf you have 0 to worry about and if your not on TRT already i would def not shut down your balls to drop a couple lbs.
If you need assistance losing fat look into retetrutide. That will actually mobilize fat.

Thanks for the response.

I do not mean that the compound (T) would ‘burn fat’, with the right macros and a small but consistent deficit I will lose the flab - I am talking about how much easier it might be with regards to not having to worry about muscle loss while on a cal deficit. Does it make training on a cal deficit easier, also?

I have cut from 16 to 11%bf in the past but it’s always come at the cost of a few lbs of lean tissue

I’m on TRT which the doc dosed v high (200mg/wk) and before I pare it down i want to take adavntage of it to cut without too much muscle loss

Easy… Retatrutide peptide.. Look into it.

Your not gonna burn muscle until you are very lean. 11% is not very lean. 7-8% is when you need to start worrying. You are fine. Save the steroids for building muscle.
Your TRT doses is fine.
