Why does everyone else in this thread have time to cook, but you don’t? Are you that much busier than everyone else?
I liked to prepare my nut cookies snack, once every 3 weeks.
That much time and frequency is enjoyable time for chores…
Since u told me it is not a good meal I am reluctant to do that as well

Looks like you are getting the results you deserve ![]()
I haven’t been clean on my diet (at least not cheating) even for two weeks in a row to know the possible result of what I do.
Ok, if you want to criticize, at least explain something like:
“powders easily convert to glucose and u risk ruining the diet compared to protein from lean meat/ eggs”, eventhough I am strivin for a calorie deficit as well…
Otherwise I dont get your point. I may be free for weeks but I dont like to cook, I won’t do that. Males in my country do not do house work, they cook meat on friends gatherings/ in the woods and drink, thats pretty much all
, mby trying cooking for a woman for a date in your place, not very often…
If you guarantee that everyone loosing weight and maintaining muscle eats 1 kg of meat a day, or he fails, I simply don’t believe you.
My initial thought was - protein from food (good one) to shakes 1 : 1.
Now I see it is going to be at least 1 : 2 or 1 : 3
They are the results you deserve
You have finally convinced me. You win. The last thing you want to do is lose your “man card.”
Such an insane justification, but explains a lot of this thread looking back. Can’t cook and have to drink alcohol at night, all to be a man. He will without a doubt stay fatter than he wants to be forever.
In an attempt to be a man, you end up doing the opposite. Quite funny.
It’s manlier to be able to roll down a hill with great speed than it is to be in shape
To avoid this becoming a statement of misogyny/toxic masculinity, it’s worth appreciating the actual scientific notion behind it, as both increasing adipose tissue around the abdomen/in general alongside drinking alcohol have been shown to lower testosterone and increase estrogen.
I would like an admin to cleanup the spam here.
I am exaggerating for cooking, e.t.c. cause no one is on the point:
- what is the difference of taking your protein entirely from food (preferably leaner meat, eggs, less from dairy and others) compared to taking it partly from powders.
F.ex. in ratios 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, food:powder
Is there any difference if u do that while cut, maintence, bulk.
As I said I am perfectly ok eating twice a day and have healthy guts.
Adding protein powder consistently already makes me feel better.
Don’t want to eat more, spend time eating/ cooking/ shopping more and whatever.
(Except mby veggies, I am lazy I admit)
It is good you can admit you have a problem. That is the first step in a 12 step program.

Wants to lose weight but can’t…how will we ever figure out why that is?
I have attempted to aid you in multiple instances here. I am still attempting to do that. I can gladly advise you on how to make your protein shake based approach work, as that’s exactly how I structure my nutrition in order to achieve the very goals you are looking for.
It was the very method I used to drop 35lbs and then rebuild another 20.
I’m literally still using it today. I just finished off my second Metabolic Drive shake for the day. I have another one coming up around 1230, a big meal in the evening, a shake before bed and one in the middle of the night.
I’ve love to help you: but you need to want to help yourself.
EDIT: While I’m doing a “I’ve been where you’ve been and done what you need to do” thing, while you balk at eating 1kg of meat, here I am eating double that in 30 minutes
This is silly. You opened a discussion and people are discussing the topic. The forum is working exactly as it was designed.
Please stop reporting every post with which you disagree; that’s the opposite of a discussion.
Bascially , protein shakes are used during fatloss period and induce more cutting on muscles and look shredded.
But it should not be used as a meal substitute .
Focus on cutting high fat dairy products and add fruits such as avocado, pears ,apples etc to your diet.
What?
What?
I am not as ambitious about the bulking part as you.
Just want to be 15% bf max and being able to go 10-12% occasionally (guessing the numbers).
Btw, u did that volume and definition without any ped?
And what is the point of the protein shakes if you eat 2 pounds of meat DAILY?
2.5 - 3 grams of protein per kg bw? (more than 1gr per pound)
Making the protein with less meal and more shakes is easier on anything (time, price), including digestion comfort.
P.s. up till now I get the “more meal” part as avoiding getting really hungry, thus avoiding cheats, eventually…
Yesterday I came for dinner really hungry, I made ~300 grams of meat + some solid cheese curd (not exactly as your cottage cheese, it is dryer).
I was stomach full, but there was something missing… and unfortunately there was some delicious bread to go over the top.
So, I know the feeling of stomach full eating low carb, and I know the feel of something still missing. Not sure if avoiding hunger by more proper meal will 100% eliminate the carb urge.
Especially if there is a carb food around

- Food makes you full.
- Liquids don’t.
Make sense?
You live with your parents, right?
Can your mom cook protein for you so it doesn’t offend your culture?
Is she physically capable of doing 2 hours of cooking once a week?
FYI I’m one of the most “toxically masculine” posters on this board, so don’t go thinking I’m trying to shit on your culture. I’m only shitting on your absurd attempts to abdicate your own agency (in a culture which you have more agency than half of this culture’s people).
Do you NEED to eat 2lbs of protein daily? No. You asked for my advice and I gave it.
I don’t know why you’d ask for advice just to argue with it. You seem unreasonably bent on drinking protein shakes, despite not being able to understand or articulate a difference between shakes and meats.
Everyone who asks me for diet/nutrition advice gets mostly the same I gave you. “Stop eating like an asshole and start eating more protein.”
You are the only fucktard whose gone so far out of the way to argue with the advice given when requested.
For the record, I follow the advice I gave you. I did pretty well with it.

Ok, u eat 2 pounds of meat, T3hPwnisher eats 2 pound of meat + velocity shakes on top of that?
Way before stupid replies like: “why don’t u cook” (as if I am supposed to explain) I told I was fed up with meat. Time and expense adds up to that.
Actually there is nothing about culture here except what is a available, affordable, easy, practical here + a fight with my urges.
I was eating almost entirely meat and salads the previous cut (~100-90kg) up to a point it was no longer of Interest and a plain piece of bread + some salt was a way more delicious than that ![]()
And the meat was not 2 pounds for sure, max 1 pound and most of the time less.
As I see, u started bigger and now u are even bigger, I guess T3hPwnisher (no before pic) also started bigger.
I am smaller frame, I guess I don’t need that much food (the maintenance macros as a baseline).
The cheat of the day (not all of it):
I think the high water content makes it not that cheaty, but I didn’t measure and calculate it.
P.s. u are almost right, the place where I live I rarely keep any food, except the powder. I eat elsewhere with ‘normal’ ppl ![]()
