Cutting journey

A cheat is not a cheat day without a shitload of carbs/sugar.

OP prefers ā€œdeath by a thousand cuts.ā€

I don’t particularly enjoy most carbs or sugar, esp not the processed packaged shite

Fat all the way for cheats

I’m a sucker for anything involving bread and cheese.

ā€œCheatingā€ is when you break the rules to gain an advantage. This isn’t cheating: it’s sabotage.

Honestly, I’m thinking he doesn’t really want to be. Y’all have given the dude awesome advice - it’s just not the advice he wants. I have a sister-in-law like this. Energy vampires…

I can’t eat that much, not to mention it will be time consuming and expensive.
Don’t want to be obsessed all the time with preparing food and taking a dump twice a day…
Yesterday I didn’t eat that much actually (incl. the cheat) but I was so full I skipped the protein shake :frowning:

Here is exemplary easy meal. 4 of these meat ones are 1/2 pound. And it is not really lean meat, it has pork fat in the minced meat and it has the taste of pork (having the fat)

I don’t know if the arab bread is a cheat, 1 leaf is not much carbs for a day (would be cheat on keto).
The dip is youghurt/ mayonese like, I don’t know how much I ate, but used sparingly just for the rest not to be dry.
I usually can’t eat more than two such meals.
I don’t work as miner, lumberjack, in the fields, e t.c. to need more.

That’s why I went for the shakes - to ensure at least a modest protein intake.
I think I recover a tad better from workouts now.
And I have to make it work that way.
Eliminating just what gets in the way.

I really like this too - these are omelette threads. They start out with some broken eggs, but we all get to eat at the end.

Maybe that should be the goal?? YOU ARE FAT.

Focus on protein so you stop stuffing your face and ā€œcheatingā€

This thread is nothing but self flagellation, and i dont know why i can’t stop looking.

Probably same reason why people watch reality TV and can’t look away from actual car crashes

Its like I’m enthusiastically coming back knowing I’m about to be disappointed and angry.

There’s got to be a term for that.

A few of these threads in the last two weeks, the mindset is kind of fascinating. The ā€œI don’t have time and it’s expensiveā€ excuse is mind boggling to me. Eating out is far more expensive, and nobody is ever as busy as they think. Everybody in this thread works and has a family. We’re talking about drinking alcohol at night to ā€œunwind.ā€ Cook a lunch for tomorrow instead of boozing. People truly think they are so busy when so many hours are spent just sitting around. If you can post in a forum for a week you can put some chicken in the oven once a week.

The cooking doesn’t even interfere with the trolling!

Chicken in the oven once a week does not make 2 pounds of lean meat A DAY !!!
This very example makes clear the amount of work needed DAILY, just to feed my ass as if I am a pro.

Revisiting what I eat and what u suggest (at least as protein quantity), I should make it work with protein intakes:
ā€œfood to powderā€ of at least 1 : 2 or 1 : 3 (to get closer to 180 grams eventually…)

Up till now I don’t know what else to do except cutting off the carb cheat and see what is going on.

I got scales reading of 85 kg these days but the mirror ā€˜ain’t showing no difference yet’.

Your just using any excuse you can now not to diet properly.

What is ā€˜properly’, except avoid cheats?

Protein supplementation (powders) don’t work for cutting?
