I can’t even be mad. I knew this dude was going to be a ninny about it before i gave him the advice.
Op is a few reps shy of a full set.

I know this website is for advanced ppl, but are u SERIOUS an average guy who is not on PED (more than base TRT), 6 feet and less height needs 200 gr protein every day??? (let alone from meat only)
I know guys who are stronger than me and have always been, who don’t care how much protein they eat from any source ( at least not that much)
Some of them are probably bigger and stronger than some of u, except they might be looking like a bigger and taller ‘gross potato’, just by genetics ![]()
No. You should keep doing what you’ve been doing. It’s clearly working.
In the most genuine and sincere way possible, go fuck yourself ![]()
Yes. I think it’s even more important to increase protein intake when you are not on PEDs.
Why not do what they do then? It’s bound to be better than your current approach
I am not them, I can’t really have their results as body frame, tendon attach points/ cross section or bulkiness.
Some of them are not generally bigger than me, they just have bigger arms (especially forearms and hands) and bone structure and are/ were slimmer than me and never cared much what they eat, different from if they like it or not.
Anyway, I may have reserves (not possible to practically eat that much meat everyday, even a 150 gr. protein), but now I am biased from what I thought to what u say.
And why do u round it to 200 grams?
Even if I aim 2 gr/ kg, I am ~70 kg lean (at best, 0 fat), so it is rather 150 grams max.
Also, provided I didn’t cheat these days and I feel pretty ok on low carbs, I am sure some of the protein I get is used for fuel only (mby converted to glucose) and I doubt I take more than 150 grams from all sources.
Probably 120.
Lets say this is true, that your body starts burning protein as a fuel source via gluconeogenesis.
Tell me why you should be taking in less protein, now that your body is now using it for fuel - instead of muscle building/sparing purposes.
Ah, sounds like it was pretty silly to bring them up then ![]()
You’re in a thread of probably 20 people at this point who do eat this much protein daily. How is it impossible to eat that much meat practically? I do it daily, as does much of this site. Why are your variables so different? Make time for it or the results probably won’t happen. Get up 20 minutes earlier. Prep meals at night. The ways to do this are near infinite.
Who cares about their bone structure? If they are generally slimmer than you it is a fair bet they eat less, are more active, or both, than you on a daily basis. Some people are better at this than others. If I don’t manage what I eat, I will get fat. It is okay to have to manage that. Just do it.
@emosms
You seem to have more excuses why you can’t or won’t follow all the great advice you’ve been given here. You are no different than any of us except in the fact that you seem very lazy and want the easy way.
What’s your plan???
The extra protein going for glucose synthesis is what disrupts the keto diet, that’s why there are different macros settings there.
Otherwise I don’t know in what priority the protein is used on high protein diets, if there is such a fixed priority, measurable as quantities…
Anyway, I am logging a cheat out of nowhere…
I was neither hungry nor down, just stayed a bit too long in a room with food:
The rest was low carb food and only a morning proteinI shake.
I won’t skip the before bed shake, I think I feel better in the morning and have better sleep
This guy is either a troll or an idiot. He cannot be helped.
Definitely a troll.
What I appreciate about this thread is it got all of us together to share ALL the different ways we have found dietary success. There are SO many ways to achieve this goal: no counting, count everything, vegan, carnivore, flexible, fasting, 6 meals a day, etc.
There is only 1 way to fail, and it’s proudly on display.
I got to eat this for breakfast yesterday because my way of eating had me accidentally 8lbs underweight for my weight class
What a great problem to have
For the entire 3 decades that I competed, I did this every night. If it’s important it must be done. This was never an option. If you can find an excuse for not prepping meals the night before, I cannot help you. You would rather talk about it than do it.
Yet OP can’t seem to get on board with anything. He just keeps blurting out what is stopping him.
Prediction-he will look the same or worse in three months time.
That’s exactly what I mean. It’s a great demonstration
Not trolling. Logged a cheat almost in real time.
I will try to do that every time to see what is going on (and u will see as well)
All you’re missing are some vending machine chicken samosas
what a piss poor excuse of a cheat. If you cheat, at least do it right. My last “eat everything in sight day” consisted of
1/2 roast duck for breakfast
4oz brie, 4oz cambert, 4oz danish blue cheese
all you can eat KBBQ for dinner
