The stubborn fat around the middle as you get older is often related to lower testosterone and higher estrogen. My suggestions: first try REZ-V and Alpha Male. If this does not work, get your test levels checked. You may find that an anti-estrogen such as clomid helps as well.[/quote]
If you are going to use an Anti-E for cutting, stay away from the clomid, and use nolvadex instead.
Clomid carries some wicked sides, at least for me.

You’ve nailed it. I had my test evaluated last year and it had collapsed. I now am on low-dose HRT. 5 years ago, I could see my abs and was 240 and veiny. Now, I’m 288, some of which is muscle but some is that midsection fat. Tried all sorts of diets, upped the aerobic, but without that T, I was spinning my wheels.
The men in my family tend that way; late 40’s and WHAM! Thought I’d avoid it by not drinking and working out. W/o T though, screwed.
Fitday is the best tool I have found to see what you are doing. This website will help you track what you eat, what you burned and track this and other fitness goals. Try it and see how easy it is.

OK, sounds like you may need to discuss upping the HRT dose with your doc. (If you don’t mind going over to the dark side, a cycle of anavar would also work well ;))

Sorry guys, I’m naiave regarding HRT, but whats the difference between “going over to the darkside” & taking steroids such as Anavar, and HRT (using artificial testosterone as an “aid”). Is everyone saying that once you get past 40 you can’t lose fat naturally without either steroids or HRT. If you do HRT can you still legitimately call yourself a natural athlete (I belive Gatlin is now facing a ban for high testosterone levels.
I’m 47, fast approaching 48. Did the V-Diet for three weeks in June while I was in Korea. Had to cut it short due to a death in the family. Bottom line, lost 16 pounds of fat, gained 3 pounds of muscle. Also lost cravings for pizza, burgers, goopy baked potatos, etc… I didn’t have access to Biotest products as they refuse to ship to a PO box, substituted MyoPlex Lite and Designed Protein for the MRP; instead of Surge, used a cup of skim milk, a scoop of Designer Protein and a scoop of Slim Fast. Also used fish oil and milled flax seed as Chad recommended. I thought it went great. Used T-Dawg 2.0 to come off the diet, since then, have lost four more pounds and gained two more pounds of lean mass. Got my first batch of Biotest products this week and am looking forward to hitting the V-Diet again around Jan, this time with my somewhat over-weight wife. I highly recommend the V-Diet as a life changing event.
