I have slight metabolic problem that my parents have cursed me with. I am 6’4 about 275 and have a high body fat percentage. This wasnt an issue until now. In high school and college it was not as bad because I played a lot of sports. But then I stopped do regular cardiovascular activities and just lifted weights. I have recently started doing a lot of cardio. Almost 4-5 hrs a week, and a total body work out 2 times a week. I feel this is my last resort to cut my body fat percentage down, but feel my self get softer in terms of muscle. Is this program gonna make me loose a lot of muscle along with fat. If any one can suggest a program or supplements that can help me drop body fat % with out loosing too much muscle please let me know.
what is your diet like? are you getting enough protein? are you taking methoxy-7 to help preserve muscle mass? i don’t know anything about the ‘mens’ suppliments and prohormones, since I can’t take them, but Biotest makes a bunch of things that are supposed to help you keep your muscle and burn fat. do some searches and read through the Biotest site to see what products could help you out.
Bro, as michelle pointed out, your diet should be scrutinized first. Read all you can on the ezine side, especially the “diet manifesto” article.
I would normally not be one to tell a person to eliminate certain things from their diet cuz everyone’s different, but I think it’s safe to say cut out the refined carbs - processed white anything as they are usually high calorie and nutritionally deficient, and make sure you’re getting some high quality protein for muscle repair. good luck!
