hey everyone, im currently doing a keto diet, and keeping my carbs under 20grams a day. but one question for you, my post workout shake consists of almost 40g carbs, should i cut this out until im done with my keto diet? maybe just eat a good chicken meal instead. thanks. also what effect does alcohol have on this diet.
You should have 20 g of carbs on non-workout days, and increase the grams on workout days. You need the carbs after your workout to go straight to your muscles. Keep it up, and keep those shakes for post workout. Good luck!!

Berardi has stated many times that proper post-workout nutrition, like Surge, should still be used when on a reduced carb diet. The positives outweigh any negatives.
