Cushing Suspended for Teh Roidzz

X, I think he was saying with his level skill compared to the others little leaguers

I think he meant embarrassed the other guys with his level of skill.

Have you ever taken the kind where you need to sign a government contract to buy?

Shit is FUCKING BANANAS. Lol, dude it is speed that dries up your sinuses.

I worked all afternoon standing up and was sweating like it was leg day. My bosses were kinda pissed, until I told them I took too much Sudafed, then they understood.

Stuff is fucking speed man.
I’m calling bullshit on this, I’ve taken psuedophedrine since I was like 10 for allergies. It has only been recently where you have to go to the pharmacist and sign something to get it. I’m pissed because it worked great, and although you may have had some side effects, it is far different drug then ephedra or methamphetamine.

Its the same thing with DXM in cough syrup, where it can get you really high if you drink the whole bottle, but it is highly effective at fixing coughs. Don’t go drinking a whole bottle of cough syrup because if it has other stuff in it, you will die.

Its ridiculous and am wondering how much of this crap is related to doping in sports which suddenly is representative of some moral crisis affecting the American public, hence they take effective and safe OTC medications off the market or attach some stigma to buying them.
Hmm, maybe i’m just so dead from reading my finals notes(taking a break) but sudafed works on the andrenergic receptors. So it does have a “kick” to it. A lot of people actually take it to study, play sports as it opens up the air passages and what not etc.

It’s also a precursor to methampethamine. I’m still wondering why it’s on the NFL banned substance list though. I didn’t think that would be on there.

Maybe but who’s to say if others are juicing as much they wouldn’t be damn fine athletes. Everyone who has insane numbers seems to get caught for peds the next year.

Went to school with the guy. Never actually had a class with him, but the other football players I did have class with said he was a very big “anti-steroids guy”. My first thought after that was he’s probably taking some sort of PED then.
I played little league on the same team as him when we were probably around 8 or 9 since we lived about four blocks apart. He fucking embarrassed everyone else on the field. I’ve seen him a couple times in our shitty neighborhood gym during the summer since he went to USC, kid is huge. His dad, Stafford, is absurdly nice though.
Embarrassed everyone else on the field?

I guess people are just lying in wait to pounce on those in the public spotlight. Do we even know what the substance is yet?

How did he embarrass some kids from little league several years ago?
I think he may have meant that he embarrassed everyone at the time because he was so much better than everyoen else - not that they are embarrassed now.

He meant he was so much better than everyone else it was embarrassing. Professor X, self-appointed crusader of black folk and bodybuilders everywhere.

How is it not fucking clear that I’m not promoting some ridiculous thought process you think I am? Like I don’t fucking realize that people were big and strong before steroids came into play? Yes you are self righteous if your so fucking dense you can’t engage in any sort of discussion without making it a black and white scenario.

Look, I may be naming names but I’m not specifically accusing them. Brian Cushing, well yeah ok I was expecting this. You know, I don’t know the difference between Patrick Willis and Brian Cushing. Maybe they both juice, maybe not.

The only point I’m making, which is where my comparison comes from, is that somehow Natural bodybuilders seem to hover below 200 lbs. Pro bodybuilders hit 225+ shredded. If you think I’m promoting an agenda, nope.

LOL @ the thought that football players are anywhere near the BF levels of stage ready BB’ers.

Your point is fucking retarded. 5’10" 230 stage ready and 5’10" 230 @13-15% are two VERY different things.

Fuck some of you people are so fucking deluded, no wonder my mother thinks husk fiber is steroids. I mean the genetic elite among the human race play the sport, I think it is safe to say their measurements may NOT be the best judge of if they are on anything or not.
Right cause I’m being completely 100% serious that every 5’10 230 lbs NFL athlete is juicing. And since there is no proof that Barry Bonds did roids, we should assume that he didn’t? Don’t be a self righteous twat man, you know as well as I do that steroids are part of Pro sports, and neither of us knows exactly how widespread it is.
What?

HE’S being “self righteous”? He’s right, comparing regular levels of body fat with stage ready bodybuilders of the same weight and acting like being that heavy alone denotes steroids use is fucking retarded.

We get it, some of you think everyone is so physically limited. Kai Greene still competed as a natural at over 225lbs in contest shape and some guy walking around at 230lbs at 15% body fat is a totally different fucking planet than being shorter and carrying that much size at sub-6% body fat on stage completely dried out.

My question is, how the hell is this not clear to people before they even make comparisons like that?

Also, anyone who is still unaware that gyno occurs naturally in more than 60% of the male population has to be a retard at this point.
I seriously doubt anyone in the NFL outside of the bigger positions [and guys like Ron Dane, the Bus, etc…] are anywhere near 15%. I’d be willing to bet there aren’t many over 10%. Comparing Kai Greene [who’s just big for the sake of being big] with someone who’s 5’10", 220+ and runs a sub 4.5 40 makes no sense.

Pro football players are the best combination of bigger, stronger, faster as far as our species go. They’re genetically built for it. But, I’d be willing to wager that the majority of the league is on something. In a sport where it pays to be bigger, stronger, faster, why wouldn’t they?

merriman didnt fall off cause he stopped taking steroids, he started to suck after he blew his knee out…he was actually still good when he came back from his 4 game suspension. So Cush will still be a beast as long as he stays healthy

NFL players and Pro bodybuilders have no business being compared, as they are competing in entirely different pursuits that contain far different criteria for success. Period.

An update that I think will interest some of you, Cushing insists that he didn’t take steroids:

I’d like to punch the guy who wrote that in the face. The NFL would make this a lot more clear if they just came out and said what he tested positive for. It could be cold medicine, marijuana, or any of a long list of PEDs.

At the end of the day, I really don’t give a shit, but I’m still curious to what he would be taking.

I thought it was pretty apparent what I was saying, since everyone else understood. My point was that he’s a natural athlete who, regardless of what he puts in his body, has been a beast from day one. Seeing how hard he works and seeing the genetics he got from his dad, who is an enormous dude, only reinforce this.

But I guess if you’re determined to read it the wrong way then go for it…

That’s the same thing all the other ones who got caught with steroids thought.

You ever think these guys get injured alot easier when they’re not using.

I’m not saying it means they do/don’t use, but there are plenty of non-linemen that are 12-15%(which really is far from ‘overweight’), and there’s actually plenty of linemen that are much leaner than you’d expect.

Putting up a picture of Ray Lewis tossin up a little showboat flexing(not perfect but it works). This is probably pretty indicative of most linebackers conditioning in season because they are more worried about eating a ton to recover properly and rest up during the week, not go 100% in practice every day and stay lean.

I think part of this is that shit like “Adrian Peterson is 8% bodyfat” is all over ESPN all the time, when it’s not true, and it skews the idea of how lean the entire league is.

Yeah merriman was no where near the player he used to be after he got busted. Not even close (that was pre knee injury)
