Glad you can see that…and admit it. You do as much in 1 workout as I do in 2 or 3. It amazes me that you just keep ticking away.

yep - that’s the first step.

Hi my name is Tony and I’m addicted to high-volumn training…

So I like to lift a little bit now and then - it’s not a problem; I can stop anytime I want.

ahhh, tony, screw the bodyweight. spending any time worrying about that shit is a waste. just keep lifting heavy. that’s all that really matters anyway. The rest of us will just have to adapt to the fact that one of us has a physique, and the rest of us are fat.
And I, for one, am okay with that…
Don’t they have meetings for that?

Feeling good at the start. Started feeling kinda stretched thin by the end. Front Squats are down a bit - might need to concentrate on those.

That is one good lookin squat. Outstanding young man. Inspiring.

Good looking squats, Tony. It looked like a grinder…and I am sure it was from so deep and with that much pause. Congratulations on the PRs. Those are big ones.
Also, couldn’t help but notice the enormous volume. Makes me feel like a pansy.

My son trained with me today. I was fit to bust. We’ve been spending the evening slap-boxing and annoying his mother.

When you said deep, you meant deep. Great work.

Hey! That’s the exact same squat technique I’m using, using the exact same type of squat rack.

Although…I am only 5’8", and I do use 75 lbs less, and my form is uglier. I guess 'da devil’s always in the “details”, isn’t it?

Sounds like an evening well spent. Although I am sure that Mom would disagree.

Thats pretty cool. Times you’ll always remember.
Nice squatz. I don’t think you could go any deeper without a hole in the floor.

Beauteous paused squat. Love the new title of your thread.

Thanks kpsnap. It’s sorta ironic that I haven’t really done any curls since renaming my thread.

I copied you. Didn’t know I was watchin’, didja?

That last was a grinder indeed. No problem out of the hole, but there’s a sticky spot about halfway up where I’ll start to oscillate if the hamstrings aren’t firing right.

It is a bit of volume and it’s starting to wear me down. I gotta pick and choose which battles to fight rather than try to work all my perceived weaknesses.

Thanks username42. 2 more months to 48 and I feel younger and am stronger than I did/was at 24.

I saw a lady at my gym actually squatting and doing it properly. I just had to compliment her on her depth and strictness of form. I think I threw her out of her zone a bit, broke her concentration on her training, because she got a little flustered and her responses didn’t make much sense.

I gotta wonder if I come across as accosting people I talk to rather than just talking to them…

Nahhh. I train alone and I get the same way if someone talks to me when I training. You just get used to not chatting. Besides, you’re probably the first person who complimented her on form. Everyone else probably tells her she shouldn’t do squats like that or some sort of nonsense.
