Sad thing is “helo320” right about why we will not see it anytime soon.God knows it would be nice to see the U.S, take gold in a weight related event.Since we seem to suck at O-lifting.Since very few people due it anymore.Until some of these Feds at least get on the same page you wount see it in the Olympics.Hell we dont event have a true National Championship anymore.
Oh by the way nice title.Dont take this the wrong way I dont want to see videos of you topless:)

Great Push Presses, Tony! Squats are looking good as well. I hope that the adductor gets well quickly.
I second that. Very nice Push Pressing & Squatting.
Nice work, Tony. I need to get on that ab wheel, seeing as how I hate it so much.
Bestest thread title yet.
I think what 'da Dawg really wants is a full-monty, double-Bi, money shot. ![]()
Glad y’all like the new title. We aim to please here at the DaCharmingAlbino Bon Mot generation facility. ![]()
Jack - Ab wheel always makes my overheads more steady. Being old and memory challenged I am surprised by this each time I go back to them.
Strick - Adductor’s better today. Temporary groin yank is all.
Nobody gets to see my groceries, top or bottom, until they pony up the bucks. Good thing I’m not basing my food budget on my income from this.
Hel - you are right. Reality once again goes against my wishes - this must stop.
Thats some bad ass push pressing TAony, big work.
Thanks Joe. And Skip.
I took a little wider grip (same as for clean and jerk) on the push presses and that seemed to help through the sticking point. I think 220 would have gone, but I can wait 'til next time. It’d be interesting to see if I could make a 225 jerk go up finally. I’ve come close but never locked it out.

With a push press of 130+% of bodyweight, you’re getting ever closer to reaching that unattainable point of self-satisfaction.
Nice work.
As usual I like your training. And the title is the shit. And PL making into the Olympics? Who cares? And it has nothing to do with raw vs. geared, or single vs. multi. The committee already has ‘weightlifting’. Seriously, that is what is boils down to.
To them PL and WL are not separate sports, just the same shit with different lifts, and they have their lifts. Let’s get over it, let PL take its place amongst other douche bag sports like MMA, and professional wrestling, and bodybuilding. It’s where it belongs, or at least so it has been deemed by higher authorities.
Edit, it is my birthday, I am pissed at the world, and did have a couple of adult beverages after squatting tonight…
yeah, after the eurokwears took pressing out of o-lifting, the shit just got sad. its too bad, really, because I think that there should be a place for the iron triathlon in the olympics. and the clean and press. that would be cool. 6 events, clean and jerk, clean and press, snatch, squat, bench, deadlift. about the same as the number of gymspastic events. dancing with a hula hoop is an olympic sport and deadlifting is not? puhleez.
Do you do the ab wheel from standing or kneeling? I’ve never managed it from standing…

Kneeling right now. When all 4 sets are 15 reps, then I’m going to start from the feet.
Standing roll-outs are killer hard, for me at least. I just did them with blast straps last week, though, and I think it’s a nice in-between (standing and kneeling).

Feeling beat today. All weights felt 20 lbs heavier than they ought to. Maybe a bit overdone or haven’t adapted to the intensity increase yet. S’all right. Got my singles.

Must be catching. I had that day yesterday.
You still kicked ass.
Shit - no wonder my DL sucked today. I wasn’t supposed to do it for another two days! Today was supposed to be squat-squat day.

Oops! Nice work anyway.
