What a vapid response.

Why do the Militant Atheists always have such shit drive by posts?

It is the truth distilled;-)

I don’t consider you a Militant Atheist, not by any stretch, but your post offers zero insight or intellectual stimulation either.

It is the equivalent of someone saying “Purple is a color”.

Vapid.

I agree.

Because they are just as close minded as the militant theists they oppose. The most logical positions are that of the agnostic atheist or the agnostic theist, respectively.

Agnosticism is my statement of knowledge; atheism is my statement of belief. I choose this belief because of the overwhelming lack of any evidence for any of the gods.

I think the point is being derailed , the point is Religion not God

Neither of which are necessary. However it’s not any of the gods I worry about, none of them are real. It’s the multitude of the religious that scare the piss out of me.

We wouldn’t want to derail one of headhunter’s threads would we?

I think who ever started it is not relevant , I think all these anti religion threads get stymied but changing it to an anti God thread

We agree on religion , in my opinion religion has been the biggest blight on man kind . I can not think of one thing that has done more harm

I can’t even imagine you expect people to take you serious anymore.

You’ve jumped the shark into complete troll at this point.

I personally think you have no imagination , most wars and disputes are based on religious bias . Name one other factor that so much atrocity can be attributed

Power

/moronic bullshit.

I’m done interacting with you until you come back to Earth, or stop trolling. This is fucking ridiculous.

Let’s just look at some of the big ones:

WWI – leftist expansionist governments butting heads
WWII – expansionist national socialists vs. expansionist communists vs. capitalists
Various USSSR and Soviet block internal struggles
Korea – expansionist communists
Vietnam – expansionist communists
Kuwait – oil or nationalism/expansionist socialist dictator, your choice
Iraq II – more of the same

The only religious wars I know about going on around the world are:

muslims vs. Russians
muslims vs. Chinese
muslims vs. Indians/Hindu
muslims vs. Buddists in various Asian countries
muslims vs. a largely nonreligious West
muslims vs. Jews all over, but primarily Israel.

And I see one common denominator to that.

Iraq’s problems are directly linked to religion

Russia , the jury is out

I can see the common thread you refer to , I think it is part of the problem too but I think for different reasons

Outside of disease I can’t think of much that is more a killer of mankind than war, and based on this…

religion doesn’t really play a role in enough to confirm anything the troll is trolling on about.

Dumbest fucking statement I’ve read all week, and I click on Salon once in awhile…
