Yes, clomid is prescription only as far as I know.
As for combating DHT, finasteride is the compound I have seen most often recommended. It is sold as either Proscar or Propecia and you may have an easier time getting your hands on those.

What exactly is DHT, and where is it active. It’s a metabolite of some steroids, right ? Does that mean that if I have something like M, I can act competitively for it at the receptor site, or am I confusing a couple of things here ?

I started taking Saw Palmetto extract 85-95% sterols and It’s done wonders. Saw Palmetto Inhibits DHT, give it a try.
Maybe Saw Palmetto or Nettle root (MAYBE)

I thought that clomid effected estrogen and testosterone. not DHT. this is the first time ive ever heard of it doing that.

Stick to Saw Palmetto. Buy the standardized stuff that comes in gel caps. SubHuman is right, the stuff works wonders. Just do not buy the straight herb.
