Crusing and HCT

I like to cruise with my free T in the 30’s labcorp range top is 18. This is where I feel the best. A little stronger with fast recovery, 24-48 hours.
I can’t keep my HCT below 51. Anything out there, diet, supplements, sarms, peptides to help keep your hematocrit in check?
I know about blood donation and have done that but I have gotten in trouble with my ferritin lvls.

In the same boat, my friend. Hematocrit is 56 currently. I’m about to start taking naringin daily, as I had previously been getting it from grapefruit. But everything I’ve read pretty much says donate blood as the first and best option. There ways to play with ferritin levels (up or down) and I suppose that’s a secondary concern if you’re donating regularly.

As an aside, keeping hematocrit below 51 is t necessary if you’re not having any issues with that level. It’s just barely high, and those ranges are not set in stone. My levels pre-TRT were 51-52 and it was not a concern. So if you’re not having any real issues then go ahead and try some of the easy things first, and if push comes to shove then donate again and deal with your iron after that.

Thanks iron_yuppie, the clinic I get my supplies from requires my HCT stays below 52. Scripts will not be given if 6 month blood tests are not in their range.

Have you considered a Double Red Cell donation? Only once every 16 weeks. You could do it before your labs

I have not.
The red blood cells hold your ferritin. Wouldn’t that drop your ferritin faster?

I read somewhere that reducing vit-C can help, not sure how.
Of course no iron supplements.
Some green leafy veggies have iron, like spinach. Don’t know of others.
I love steak and eat 3 8oz’ers per week. I’m not sure if chicken, fish-tuna/cod are high in iron.
I get most of my protein from meat.

I guess I was thinking that you could do the double red cell, then bump up your iron intake prior to your labs. That way, you meet your Dr. requirements, thin your blood a little, and with TRT, you will likely bring your red cell count back up in a short time.

This might be worth a try. Thank you for the idea.
