Day 4

Front Squat: 5x3

Why not BBB for the squat and deadlift too?

There is no reason it shouldn’t work if everything is in place (diet, training, sleep, mobility, etc.). Try it for a couple cycles and see how it works.

The front squats and Stiff leg deadlifts have worked very well for me in helping boost up my back squat and deadlift and I don’t know how else to fit those movements in…so for upper body I’m using BBB but for lower body I’m just using a variant after the main lift…so a squat variant after deadlifts (the front squat) and a deadlift variant after squats (in this case the stiff leg deadlift). My upper body responds very well to simply performing the main movements, so doing BBB seems to make the most sense to me.

Looks good to me. I’ve ran a pretty similar template in the past.

I actually decided to ditch front squats and just do squats BBB.

Front squat BBB. You’ll hate yourself.

I would personally do the same lift as the main and assistance lift. I do 531 on bench followed by 5x10 on bench. But that’s mostly because I want to economize and only warm up one movement pattern. But other than that, it looks pretty damn good to me…
