Outstanding dude! On all accounts. As a poli-sci guy, I gotta admire that score. But also, of course, Half-orc barbarian. As you know on a personal level: strength is it’s OWN magic, haha.
TPWiaB W32D2/3: Deload Press/Row
Seated Press: Work to 190x1 (PR)
Row: Work to 315x3
Air Bike: 20:00, 5.53 Miles, 202 Cal
Fun day. Next cycle, going to do 5x5’s of the cheaty rows I’ve been doing and then an RP set of more traditional barbell rows.
I just watched this video and thought “What the actual fuck”. Nice work
@freshyfresh They’re definitely a fun lift. And since I’m not using deadlifts as a primary movement at the moment they let me still have some sort of floor-pull in the rotation. Looking forward to reading about your comp btw :]
TPWiaB W32D5: Deload Squat
Squat: Work to 405x1 (PR)
I want more.
That’s a huge milestone! Congratulations on 4 plates!

Pauss Bench: 185x5/5/5/5 (Superset; Short Rest)
. NG Pull-Ups: 8/8/8/8

Bench didn’t feel great today, but we’ll see what happens in a week or two.

Leg Curl: 175x10/7/6 RP
Leg Extension: 200x11/7/6 RP
Air Bike: 20:00: 5.59 Miles, 204 Cal
Congrats on the test…nice another dnd nerd. I tend to be a DM over player
@bigpappafrance Guilty as charged lol. I started back in elementary school with my dad’s AD&D books from the 70’s and it’s stuck since then
TPWiaB W31D4: Pull
Rows: 265x5/5/5/5/5, 155x22/12/7 RP

Squat: 345x3, 365x1, 275x10 (Close-Stance, Heels Elevated)
Prone Leg Curls: 130x10/5/4 RP
Air Bike: 20:00
100% on a philosophy test, 100% on a polisci midterm, and it turns out the 95.5 from last week was graded wrong as was actually a 98.
This felt heavier than it should’ve given I did 365x6 last cycle, but we’ll get back in the swing of things soon enough
Nice job .
Congrats on the PR

Nice freaking rep! I foresee a whole bunch of squat PRs incoming, that moved great!
@boilerman: I finally get the gif in my log! And yeah, I agree on how it moved. Hopefully I’m able to push that to 425+ before too long
TPWiaB W34D1: Bench
Bench: 225x3 (Match PR), 205x7/4/4 RP,
155x10/9/9/7 (Superset, Quick Rest)
Pause Chin-Ups: 8/8/7/5
Air Bike: 20:00: 5.87 Miles, 227 Calories
Top set felt easier than I would’ve expected. Focus more on slow eccentrics/pausing my chins at the expense of reps, and pumped the fuck out of my lats/arms.
TPWiaB W34D2: Legs
Full-ROM Leg Press: 455x10/10/8/8/8
Leg Curls: 180x10/5/4 RP
Air Bike: 20:00: 5.41 Miles, 188 Cal
UA decided to gut this gym (no power racks/benches until the 28th) and close the other one (also until the 28th) with very little notice so scheduling is going to get weird. Most likely:
Thur - Off
Fri - Off
Sat - Modified Pull
Sun - Squat (Equipment back to normal)
Mon - Bench
Tue - Legs
Wed - Press
Thursday & Onward - Normal
Damn man you smoke me on the press nice work, I never could train it consistently theres something about it I absolutely hate but still not sure what it is lol
Thanks man. It’s always been my best lift, not really sure why. At one point I had a 200-pound standing press and like a 230 bench lol
Leverages, genetics, training frequency, could be a mix of everything for sure
Close grip, wide grip, suicide grip etc. nothing ever changes on the shoulder press for me personally and therefore I am going to make the excuse it is leverages and not my lack of frequency ![]()
