Hey, I was wondering whether anyone could help me out in forming a good proteinacous diet. Btw I am a vegetarian and having eggs are not an option as well !
Protein shakes.
What kind of protein can you eat? Eat a lot of that…

Yup
You are lacto-vegetarian… so for your milk, include raw milk. If you look into the Metabolic Drive, you see why its better then some of the others, and its an ingredient pulled from raw milk, so… drink more of it!
I say at lest start with Superfood mixes, good tasting whey protein (Metabolic Drive anyone?) and a good bcaa complex. get omega 3 and 6 in A 50-50 ratio, flaxseed oil for omegas 3, your diet should be able to cover omega-6. bcaa is only 4 main ones, VERY IMPORTANT ones, but there are many more you need also, learn about them, wiki is great, use it.
For solids… look into your protein sources(bean curd, beans, nuts, nut butters ect) stick to ones in the most natural state, fats are important, but keep them healthy, dont just down a tub of macadamia nuts because there a nut… do some research.
Get at lest 1 gram of COMPLETE protein per 1 lb body weight… This means you need to research. Learn what veggies/carbs you put with each type of protein. different mixes- different level of completeness, make them complete.
Eat healthy fats, eat healthy veggies, eat healthy fruits, add healthy supplements to make up for what you haven’t learned about and are still missing, then go learn about them.
Bill Pearl & his wife are vegatarians. He has a couple of books that will totally help you out. I try to pay a lot of attention to what he writes. Right now I am wondering if I should have paid even more attention to what he says.
Don’t forget whole grains, they are a good source of protein and when coupled with nuts, they are complementary proteins. Legumes will help you alot, especially when paired with whole grains or nuts. Though the jury is still out, you may want to have a moderate soy intake; I avoid it, but it may be useful to you.
If you can, I would use some form of protein powder.
