Creatine Not Working

Maybe its my genetics, but i have been loading with creatine for 5 days now, 10grams 3 times daily with Grape juice on an empty stomach and to my dismay…no results. I still way 176lbs and i i’m not any stronger what am i doing wrong?

Dude, creatine’s not something you notice when you’re using it, it’s something you only notice when you’re not doing it.

Like breathing.

Some people also don’t see a lot from it, creatine occurs naturally and if you’re eating a lot of red meat you might not notice anything much.

Well, if you’re loading like you do, you should be able to notice some improvement after 5-10 days.

I say, give it another week, and if you don’t see results then, you’re probably a non-responder.

Make sure you are drinking ALOT of water. And wtf do you think creatine is? “OMGZ I took teh creetine but I didn gain 50 lbs of muscle and my bench isnt 405 yet…wtf!!!”

Creatine is proven, but it’s also proven not to work for everyone.

Try lifting.

The only noticable diff. I saw when I first took it 4yrs ago was a little bit of weight gain; around 2-3lbs. That and extreme drymouth.

Keep on it for 2-3 weeks if you bought the stuff; its cheap and you might be a slower responder then most.

As others said; water, water, water!!

What the hell were you expecting? A magic pill?

i’ll try it for a few more weeks…and no i wasnt looking for a magic pill, i drink heaps of water and was expecting to gain at least 2lbs…then i’d know it was working…

Creatine helps with weight gain? I must have been living under a rock, because last time I checked it didnt have much calories in it :slight_smile:

Here is a better idea. Eat something

2 lbs in a week ? maybe as a spike. anyway if you’re already fully hydrated all the time you won’t see the water weight alot of people get in a week.

like-wise if your body already has enough creatine, like if you eat meat everyday, then it’s probably redundant also.

this kid told me at my gym the other day " yo my friend at school took creatine and blew up he gained like 50 pounds in like 6 months" i laughed in his face so hard. then asked him if he injected it?

One problem might be if your taking 10 grams three times daily on an “Empty Stomach” you are probably not eating enough. Don’t not eat just to make sure your on an empty stomach for creatine.

why would u take 30 grams of creatine im pretty sure we can only absorb ten a day
