Creatine - not for me?

T-folks,

I am what you call an “easy gainer”. Not quite a fat ass but ready to turn pro if needed. Well, I have busted my butt on the weights, MRPs, MD6, and T2 and have gotten within 5 to 10 lbs of my goal. I have never taken creatine but have seen SLOW but steady progress on my weight lifting progression.

My problem is that I want to hit some of the “magic numbers” of lifting to reach my potential. For example, I consider a 300 lb bench to be a milestone - I am at around 270. I am also going to be 32 years old soon and don’t have the time or patience for the slow steady climb.

Is creatine right for me? My best bud used it and his experience was shits, size, and fat - he got the shits, gained some size, but gained fat. My dilemma is - I have worked very hard to get to the weight I am at and still have a little ways to go balanced by I want to reach my weight lifting goals and am already 32. What do the brethren who have walked before me think? People swear by creatine and consider it a no brainer, but is it for “easy gainers”?
