I’m trying to understand the differences between Creatine Monohydrate + sugar versus TriCreatine Maleate (or esters or whatever else they’re doing to Creatine now) + non-sugar transports. From what the hucksters in the place where I buy supplements claim, the new, improved TriCreatine Malate together with who knows what all else (A-AKG, Betaine-Anhydrous, Medium chain triglycerides, Taurine) is absorbed better that Creatine Monohydrate + something to bump the insulin response. Is there that much of a difference? I’ve read one article with references to clinical studies claiming Creatine Monohydrate absorption isn’t really a problem based on how much is excreted in urine.
I don’t know what to believe. Are the Nitric Oxide enhancers the new mixtures use related to Creatine transport, or is that a separate, complimentary process?
Thanks!
