Creatine Loading

Greetings everyone…just a quick
question…I am taking 20gms of
Creatine during my loading cycle.
Do I need to drink the whole 20gms
at one time or can I split it up
like 10 gms and then again 10gms.

You really should equi-dose it. Four servings of 5g throughout the day.

Dividing the dose MAY be beneficial in marginally increasing the proportion of creatine that you uptake per day (of course, it would be less convenient).

I think most researchers now agree that such large doses are not really necessary…0.03 g/kg/d is a handy “rule of thumb” for determining your dosage. If you don’t mind pissing your money away (not that it’s that expensive), and you absolutely need to “peak out” your levels…within 1 week instead of 2 or something like that…than the dosing regimen you described may be slightly helpful.

In most cases, loading is not of any benefit.

Your best best would to be to take 5 gr., four times a day.

Split it up.
