I realize that loading creatine is not necessary, but if you were doing it anyway, would it make sense to bump up the intake in your Surge vs. at other times throughout the day? For instance, if shooting for 20g / day for five days, would you do 5g 4x/day, or 5g 2x/day with 10g in your Surge?
Id spread it out so my urine was expelling equal amounts of excess throughout the day. LOL
Better chance of refilling the Small amount you may have used up as well.
Hope that helps,
Phill
Thanks, Phill. I was under the impression that creatine loading still worked, just that it wasn’t necessary for maximally saturating muscle tissue with creatine.
In other words, your creatine level after four weeks without loading was the same after one week with loading. So, essentially, loading just allows you to raise your creatine level faster.
But “reloading” every few weeks was definitely NOT necessary, since it takes so long for your creatine level to drop, even after taking a week or two off. Am I wrong?
You’re right, re-loading isn’t necessary, but some people like to do so every few months while on creatine. I haven’t found it advantageous, but creatine is cheap enough to experiment with.
BTW-Traditional loading dosages are about 2x what they need to be.
Cheers
