Creatine and Whey Shakes

I recently purchased Ethyl Ester Creatine and a Whey powder mix.

The creatine label tells me to take 2.5mg 30 - 45 minutes before a workout. Also, to take another 2.5mg directly after workout.

The whey basically gives instructions on to how much protein a bodybuilder would need each day(not all that useful.)

A few questions I have are:

  1. When should I take the Whey? During the workout? All throughout the day?

  2. I currently have a 3 day split, would it be ok to take the ethyl ester creatine only on days that I lift weights, or would it be better to take it every day?(ethyl ester does not require a loading phase.)

  3. The first few times I used the creatine I put the one-half teaspoon of it(2.5mg) and had that ready. The directions instructed to take it with 12fl oz of water so I had a waterbottle ready. I put the creatine into my mouth(powder form) and then quickly drank the water(and then more.)

Should I mix the creatine with a drink, or is it still effective taking it by itself then very quickly drinking water?(There is a horrendous taste, but I can take it.)

Thank you for your time, any help is greatly appreciated.

Take your CEE each day. Drink whey right before and right after you workout with simple carbs like fruit juice or Gatorade.

Thank you, t3h_Squirr3l!

Ok, I will try the CEE everyday, unless someone else has a different opinion.

Should I continue to take the CEE and then quickly add water?
