Much like the shrink wrap for window applications which tightens and thins out with a hair dryer.
Also, this guy is a great film maker who made Kai Greene’s video to be out soon!

Holy shit!
its amazing that sometimes the simplest solutions are the ones we dont see lol
Great, I’m sure all the guidos will now start using their blow dryers for biceps before hitting the clubs…
supercool… never saw that before!
He should get one of those big industrial floor heaters.
Geez,… I wonder if that just works for vascularity, or if you would still need to pump a muscle, and then hit the drier to bring the veins out… (obviously I’m gonna try this myself! -lol)

So if it’s the heat, why not just use an electric blanket?
It makes me think about using heat though. At my last show, I was able to toss my shirt and pants on between rounds. Having made use of several coats of Pro-Tan, it didn’t rub off. The competitors who used Dream Tan walked around all day in their posing trunks because otherwise they would have had to constantly reapply it as it rubs off quite easily.
I can still recall how cold I felt backstage (not sure how cold it really was, or if I just had no body fat). Makes me wonder if I should really pile on layers next time in an effort to increase my vascularity while I pump up.

I think it was CT who said (possibly in his 6 days to get shredded) article that a photoshoot in a warm room will keep your pump longer than in a cold room, which makes sense. When your cold, your blood vessels constrict and ‘sink’ deeper into your body to retain as much heat as possible. When it’s hot, they pop out towards the surface to give off heat.
It’s insane the stuff the body does to maintain homeostasis.

As someone who plans on studying science at university, mainly neuroscience and physiology I feel the need to mention that they do not sink or move towards the surface. They constrict or dilate.
Lesson over. Homework on my desk my monday! ![]()

Great new avatar Stu!
By the way, I tried the blow drier at the gym today after working biceps. I was pumped from the workout and thought perhaps the heat would bring out even more vascularity. Alas, a bit, but not much. I imagine it makes a huge difference, however, when your body fat percentage is down into the single digits–indeed, it is probably a pre-requisite for the blow dryer thing to work.
Also, the blow dryer may improve vascularity, but it wouldn’t substitute for pumping up (which gets blood flowing into the deeper layers of the muscle). I’m surprised the little video clip implies that Pulcinella only uses the hair dryer and does no other “pumping”.

Yea, but they will do it wrong and get heat guns. 2nd and 3rd degree burns everywhere
