Crashed E or High E?

You might know this. This is my one and only question. If I go in today after almost a week after crashing are my estrogen tests going to be back up or will it still be low e2? Just so I can get a piece of mind.

It’ll likely still be lower but even after your levels rise above crashed levels it still takes time before you feel better. More time than you want it to take.

I want to see them be low so I can just know that’s the reason I feel like this. Haha I’m hoping they haven’t come up that much so I don’t think it’s all in my head!

It took a month for me to feel better the first time and about 2-2.5 weeks the second time because I drank beer every night.

Probably not, at the amount you were taking, I’d give it 10-14 days to fully leave your system, then let the aromatase catch up and do it’s job. But you’re going for labs today, so why not just see what they say instead of freaking out? Just chill lol. I’ve been in your shoes, it happens, but now you know to leave the AI alone

You took 1mg anastrozole EOD (10 days stable state) and is going to take longer to get out of your system versus taking just one dose. I think it’s a good bet your E2 will either be undetectable or at least in the single digits.

How long did you go in after your e2 crashed to get your levels checked?

I really don’t remember. I had scheduled it before I crashed my estrogen and I knew my estrogen was crashed before I went. I don’t think you understand how much Anastrozole you took. There’s guys on 1000mg T taking 1mg a week to control estrogen. You took 7 times that.

I know, but if my labs come back high after 6 days, does that mean I didn’t crash it?

Also, thank you again for responded. I promise, I’ve never had this type of fear in my life. This shit makes me want to quit everything. I’ve been doing cycles for years, always feel great and am the most positive person in the room. I’m never this needed fickle person. I’m actually just freaking the hell out.

There’s no way on planet earth you didn’t crash your e2 if you were taking 7mg a week.

People literally take 0.25 to 0.5mg a week on TRT doses and still manage to do it. People doing big cycles might take a mg or 2 a week with several times more T than you’re on.

Just chill out and get your labs back and don’t take any more. That’s all you can do.

I’m not saying this to be a dick but folks who obsess & constantly go back and forth without giving things time to work are the ones who never get there on TRT. I say that respectfully because I started out the same way. If I could give you any advice it would be to ā€œman upā€ and stop obsessing, tell yourself to expect a couple rough weeks. Any change you make with TRT can mean up to a couple months of not feeling great before you start feeling better. You are going to drive yourself into a mental hole that will be tough to get out of if you don’t.

You took an anti-estrogen pill and symptoms followed. The amount of anastrozole you took is normally prescribed for women with breast cancer. It’s a mistake to prescribe anastrozole at all to men on TRT unless you are that rare case who suffers from excess aromatisation do to a particular gene.

I hope you don’t let an ignorant doc be the reason why you quit.

You’re fine man. Just relax. You did what you did, you’re paying the consequences and you’ll hopefully come out of it learning a valuable lesson and never have to go through it again.

Dude, relax. And I’ll say it again; do not get your blood tested right now. It’s going to fuel your anxiety, no matter what result comes back. Give it some time. You might even need a few months, maybe even more. You messed up. Let it go, forget about it and you will recover with time.

I’m absolutely serious about this. I dealt with a very similar situation and fueled my anxiety for over 3 years. It pretty much destroyed my life during that time. Please, please, do not make the mistake I did. You will regret it.

Got my results. Test 1500 estrogen 21. Good? Bad? Also, would it of come up that high if I crashed it? I’m sure I’ll figure this crap out one day.

A result of 1500 on total T usually means you maxed out the test, so it’s actually higher than that.

Assuming it is ā€œonlyā€ 1500 that’s a T to e2 ratio of 75:1. We usually see people feel good around 15 or 20:1

So yeah, e2 is too low even if it’s on the way back up

You probably knocked estrogen into the single digits and that’s what you felt, now almost a week later it has recovered some. It’s going to take time for your body to recover.

Yes that looks about right for almost a week later. Also keep in mind that even once levels are restored it will still take time before you feel 100%. At least mentally now you know you crashed. Drinking a beer at night can help bring levels up faster.

I apologize for being totally OT here, but I had exactly the opposite experience with this. What did you do, what happened?
