Hey guys, been having some issues on cycle and now that I’m off also. been experiencing bad anxiey/social anxiety and panic attacks…(didn’t have them previously) also have done previous cycles with 0 issues. So these symptoms are new to me.
31 years old, 5’10 195 lbs. 17-18%BF
weightlift 4-5 days a week.
cycle consisted of 150mg test cyp, with 25mg aromasin day after injection.
here’s my bloodwork 2 months after last injection, and 4 weeks after Clomid/nolva PCT
total test- 450 (264-916)
free test- 9.5 (8.7-25.1)
estrodial- 13 (7.6-42.6)
TSH- 0.917 (0.450-4.500)
T4 free 1.42 (0.82-1.77)
would it be possible that the free test being so close to the under range, and the TSH also cause the anxiety symptoms? I try to talk to my doctor about certain things I read on here. but seems he doesn’t want to hear much of it. so any advice for things to look into will be appreciated!
thanks in advance.
When you say cycle, were you on a ‘cycle’ of just 150mg/week? The anxiety/panic attacks could be correlated to your estrogen levels which are very low. @ 13 i would feel horrible irrespective of where my T levels were. When did you last take aromasin? Aromasin has a relatively short half life but its a suicide inhibitor of the aromatase enzyme. It takes a while for the body to replenish its aromatase. It appears your body may still be in that stage. In my experience it shouldnt take 8 weeks(assuming you stopped the aromasin after your last shot) but we’re all different. Your T levels seem to have rebounded to a reasonable level. Tho Clomid has a long half life and even at 4 weeks from cessation is still exerting some influence on your HPTA.
yeah, guess wasn’t really a “cycle” but more of a TRT attempt that didnt go as planned. I did notice at one point during, that my estrogen got high. I dosed the aromasin more because I felt so bad, and then went to give blood two days after and was a 650 test, 22 e2…my baseline levels before I ever did anything, I was a 450 test and 10 e2. so I believe my body runs low estrogen naturally. my last aromasin was 8-9 weeks ago.
Why didnt your TRT go as planned? It appears you are back to baseline. Do you know your free T values from before? In my experience, low E2 can produce the exact anxiety symptoms you speak of. Your Thyroid looks ok. Tho You could get a full thyroid panel done. You may be leaning a bit Hyper. Or it may not be hormone/thyroid related. Do you drink or use drugs? Stressful job? Diet?
Couldn’t handle the ups and downs of the anxiety and energy. I tried sticking to a dose, to see if my body would adjust. and never did. tried fine tuning, could never get it right. and what’s weird is, I’ve done cycles in the past with no issues. The thyroid and free T levels are what had me wondering if that could contribute. I don’t use drugs, during trt I quit drinking for 10 weeks, no difference. Haven’t had a drink in 3.5 weeks now. Diet, is in check. clean eating 90-95% of the time. and as far as stress. just the typical day to day stuff. nothing out of the usual. nothing pronounced, I’ve definitely been in harder times of my life then the present.
Oh, and my free T levels from before were a lot higher.
They were a 10.8 (1.9-25.0)
How long were you doing 150mg/week?
How long had you been on it before using aromasin?
Is 22 what you are calling high estrogen?
I was doing 150mg a week throughout the whole course. 12 weeks. I started aromasin on the 2nd week. When I had the 22 e2 level. It was 2 days after I took 25mg of aromasin. Which tells me I could’ve been high before that. I believe I read that a 25mg dose can reduce estrogen 60-70%… And I actually felt good the day of the test . I know 22 is usually a good E2 area to be in. Not sure if my e2 was spiking too much throughout though. But don’t know why I still have anxiety now though.

22 is borderline crashed for someone on TRT. It’s the point where a little bit of AI can push you over the edge. I guarantee you the aromasin is what caused your issues. That said you don’t sound like you need TRT but the same could have been said for me potentially and yet it’s positively affected my life dramatically…
My E2 is four times higher than yours and I feel great. You got bad info and it fucked you. Happens to the best of us. Live and learn. There’s a TRT section that you would have realized all of that from with 5 minutes of browsing. If you re-attempt in the future you should do some reading.

Aghhhh so much misinformation this man has unfortunately been fed… these side effects are synonymous with more than E2, so many demonise this hormone when it’s vitally important for adequate homeostasis… SHBG has nothing to do with what protocal you require… chances are you might’ve even been getting anxious due to neurological imbalance induced by fucking with you’re T/E ratio

I was wondering if that could be the case. Would that go away by staying on it for longer? And it should go away if I don’t take it for a while either?
No, it’ll stay the same/get worse staying on… if it’s the culprit (I think it is)
Why would you want to perhaps mess with glucose tolerance, lipids, erectile function if you don’t have to (estrogen is pivotal for adequte NO production, needed for adequate vasodialatory response to get a boner)
The crazy thing is I’ve ran 4 cycles in the past with 0 issues. But I guess the body changes. Don’t know what else it could be.
@dannyroe
It takes about 8 weeks before you start to level out and feel decent. You started an AI on week 2. Regardless of what issues you’re having during those first 8 weeks you just have to suck it up and wait. There’s no quick fix and adding an AI during that time just complicates things because as your body is trying to adapt to the new hormones and shut down of your natural hormones you are throwing it off even more.
TRT levels are a different animal than running a cycle that puts you at super high hormonal levels.
I just took 425mg after forgetting/ not paying enough attention to take my shot for 15 days
After quite a discrepancy between muscle/fat mass was visible (lack of test + no exercise + very unhealthy lifestyle on holiday + no libido/ED) was like wait a minute… last time I took a shot was the Tuesday before last Tuesday
I guess at this point I’m just hoping I feel better off. Can it be possible my levels are back to normal, but some side effects might last a little bit longer?
