Wow! Can’t believe how easy that second squat went up!

Great work Sensgurl.

Sensgirl and oboile, congrats. now on to worlds. It’a time the IPf and sensgirl got introduced.

Awesome job you two! I look forward to hearing the whole story. Oboile… have you decided which meet(s) you are gonna compete in this summer?

Ha! Well, its likely worlds for Sensgirl, but OBoile is still very much at the local meet level!

I’m leaning towards the St Catherine’s one in August. How about you? We’ll be at the St. Thomas meet next week as “Red Light Trish” will be a referee.

I am looking at Belle River in June… see if I can hit Level 2 Raw to get Provincial Total. If I don’t get it, I am going to attend St. Catherines for sure… if I do get it, I may attend St. Catherines and compete for shits and giggles.

Let me put it this way… I will be at St. Catherines one way or another… to either compete or cheer you on.

Hmmm… I don’t have anything planned for this weekend, I may come to St. Thomas and watch…

That’s good news. Both RL and I are competing in St. Thomas. It was the closest meet after nationals so I could make myself a bit less sad for missing it. I don’t like the sound of Red Light Trish though. I may also do Belle River. It was a blast just helping out there last year.

O’boile, do me a favour and take that lovely lady out for a nice dinner on Friday night, spare no expense. Since I’m lifting next week I don’t want her in a bad mood. By the way, what does she like in her coffee?

bunny my man, how are things?

Thanks for posting her lifts, I was in the second flight and didn’t get to see them. She rocked it!
What an awesome meet!

Are you a CPU member yet? If so, why not lift this week? Right now they don’t have very many lifters so there certainly is room.

Somehow we actually missed each other the whole time. We’ll have to make sure we say “hello” next year at the nationals.

The meet was a lot of fun. Were you around for the Ron’s and Alex’s final deadlifts? What a great atmosphere!

Any idea how many now? Last time I spike with Daniel there were 4 of us. Few enough to stay wrapped for all three squats

I heard there was 5 on the weekend, but that they were expecting around 12.

I wanted to be there! Little far from me though, I’ll be competing at the GPC nationals in Calgary at the end of May. Anyone headed there?

No… still have to renew my CPU membership, which I have been saying for the last 6 weeks. When are you guys lifting in St. Thomas, Saturday or Sunday? I have a family function on Saturday… but might be able to sneak away on Sunday… heheheh…

Rugger… things are going ok, work is interfering with my powerlifting career, but gotta pay the bills… and I have not found a stripper pole that can support my bodyweight yet so I have to remain in the same profession :frowning:

Anyway, I hope to get out to see some meets soon, at least before I compete in one…

Unfortunately, the contest is on Saturday.
