Look, I just want to rent a horse in Sydney and ride around drinking giant cans of Fosters while observing the civil unrest.
That’s still legal for tourists, right?

I really don’t have any, as I’m not clued into international issues very much. I couldn’t tell you who the Australian President… Prime Minister… Post-Apocalyptic Outback Warlord… is.
The training questions are appreciated, but better suited to my training log, since I’ve already discouraged (and am still discouraging) hijacks/tangents in this thread.
I don’t know who their PM is either but their Outback Warlord has gotta’ be The Humungus or Immortan Joe!

Probably not, horse rentals are likely subject to strict supervision. Drinking and riding horses =/= drink driving. They’re SUPER strict about that here, one of the few nanny state practices I actually agree with. If an officer of the law can demonstrate significant impairment is actually present then you seriously shouldn’t be driving. If caught you’re looking at a 1000$+ fine and deportation.

Lemme catch you up to speed
This is Scott Morrison, the premier of the wasteland.
This is the local population he rules over
However unlike virtually any other country, the general populace seem to be very content with their living standards. Jobkeeper payouts mean many can earn more than they’d otherwise earn by working part time (or even full time depending on the circumstance)
The big problem is… where is all the money coming from? Small business owners are also getting shafted, big time. Those who make over 600-700$/wk are also getting screwed.
They need something to distract people from questioning their real death toll from the floods, which would require making all their fuckups with regards to their internal processes and infrastructure construction public. Not joking.
What floods? Australia (depending on the region) experiences flooding very frequently. Most of Aus is arid and inhospitable, but a small minority of towns within the northern regions of QLD and NT are downright tropical in the summer with semi official monsoon seasons and all.
Wait, are you joking or are you being serious?
50/50, deliberately being obtuse. There was some terrible flooding in NSW earlier this year
The death toll was 3-5
You know what they should do to prevent further flood deaths? Forcibly evacuate everyone from their homes, the millitary can be deployed to make sure no pesky unwanted items like dogs or cats are brought along.
Then we can keep everyone at risk from over receiving 1 inch of rainfall in special containment camps for their own safety. A few months after the flooding is over when we can ensure residents will receive no rainfall we can allow residents back into their homes.
Oh ok lol. I was talking about China for anyone who wants to know. Lots of videos depicting the actual devastation managed to make it on social media before they could be taken down.
China criticised Aus over human rights because Aus made a quip at them when they were locking down to attain covid zero… Ironic and hypocritical.
We have also started censoring media narratives that go against the status quo of covid zero, deleting posts on politicians Facebook/Twitter accounts.
They’ve been dissing the Western world for “not listening to science” for over a year now just because the WHO and CDC initially discouraged the use of medical masks for fear that medical staff would run out of them. That was after the fuckers refused to release the real science at the start of the pandemic. Created a shitty vaccine for political clout with a sore lack of scientific evidence of it’s efficacy and inoculated their own citizens and sold the licenses to poor countries despite this. Got them to play ball and made it a political game while fully vaccinated frontline workers in these countries were dying. What’s new lol? It’d only surprise me if they weren’t being assholes.
China shouldn’t really be lecturing anyone on human rights abuses. It’s just funny when CHINA comes out and says “Australia, your lockdowns are harsh”. I mean… They are, but the fact China is the one coming out and saying it speaks volumes… Sort of
China criticizing another nation for human rights abuses; whilst imo is a warranted criticism is akin to North Korea giving Isreal shit regarding human rights.
Australia has said they’re still going to conduct targeted lockdowns after 80% have been fully vaccinated, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if politicians start pandering towards locking down over civil and political disputes and crying “but… Covid” despite not locking down the city next door that has an equitable case load.
It’s just funny
That’s how I react to whatever they do. It preserves my sanity.
Now they’re clamping down on outspoken billionaires to avoid losing public opinion. That’s actually funny. Fuckers are running out of ideas. These billionaires can’t do shit anyway because their hands are ALL dirty after having played the crony capitalism game with them all the way from the start and the public will never know the real reason why someone with some much status and power can be jailed for 18 years without a fight just for speaking out against the CCP. They probably have records of every payoff they made to every official and can easily throw even their own under the bus if these poor fools decide to escalate things, which would warrant a death sentence.
EDIT:
I have a feeling certain YouTube know-it-alls are going to pick up on this soon and interpret this as how they’re clamping down on freedom of speech and human rights without fully knowing the background.
giant cans of Fosters
Alas mate, no Fosters available in Oz, believe it or not, it’s essentially the same as VB (Victoria Bitter), but Fosters is only made for outside of Oz. @twojarslave

China shouldn’t really be lecturing anyone on human rights abuses
You could say that about most countries.
