I take the cake. When I was 15 I started working at a gym. Not so much a gym as a “Health Club” which naturally has an extremely strong gay magnetic field. It was my job to clean the gym and keep the men’s locker room clean. Now I’d of never gone in there but my boss/owner was always at the gym so he knew when it wasn’t being cleaned. The only analogy I can compare walking through those locker rooms doors is Jurassic Park when they feed the Raptors that cow. The things I saw no 15 year old should have to witness. I think I’m gonna be sick just thinking about it.
Tim asked me if I saw that type of stuff in the ladies’ locker and I can honestly say, NO. At least, not yet. Thank God. I’ll be sure to report it when I do, though.
lol!
The women’s locker room has 4 or 5 individual changing rooms. Apparently, the men’s locker room does not.
The steam rooms are not co-ed. There is one in the women’s locker room and one in the men’s locker room. But not one in the family locker room. (That’s an interesting concept, but I do see a potential for problems.)

Where I go, the steam room, sauna, and hot tub are out by the pool. So the thought of a nekkid man walking out to the steam room, right through the pool kind of amuses me. I don’t think he’d make it all the way to the steam room. A lifeguard would pretty much have to tackle him.

Yes, that’s part of the problem. The place is more of a “health club” than a gym. But I’m also enjoying the experience overall(not the nudity), since I’m seeing alot of the typical gym morons that I’ve been missing. It’s definately entertaining.
It’s bothersome also, seeing “straight looking” guys eyeing you. It bothers me more than if it was a flameing gay guy doing it.
I work out at a very good gym, but the one thing that hasn’t failed is the freakin locker rooom lurkers old dudes standing totally nude at the sink shaving, guys blowdrying their nut sack, etc. (Yeah happens in quite a few gyms)
So when I come in during the colder months I have my shorts on under my sweats, I pull the sweats off toss em in the locker and head to the weight room I come baack put em on and go home and shower there. During the summer I show up in whatever I’m gonna workout in and shower at home.
Anything I can do not to be in the locker room the better off my senses are.
I don’t get it, what’s it with you americans and nudity,… “OMG I saw a penis… my eyes are burning”… I mean I agree that you shouldn’t go naked in a sauna or sit naked on a bench because that’s just dirty (I wouldn’t want to sit on a bench that other guy naked anus touched),… but otherwise why let something bother you that doesn’t matter shit like seeing someone naked.

I agree. I tell you, we’ve grown a generation of stinky fuckers. In the past, people would shower after gym class in high school. These days, kids are so fucking scared of being naked in public that they won’t even take a damn shower. I swear, half the reason you see so many penis enlargement ads in the back of magazines is because the only shlong kids these days see is the python in the latest Jenna Jameson video. Let’s get real here, everyone has the same parts – keep your eyes off mine, and I won’t knock your ass out. That’s the unwritten code of men showering in public.
I’m still in university, and I can’t believe that some people will go work out at lunch and come back to class without taking a shower. I can understand if you go home and take a shower right away, but if you’re so insecure (or are such a homophobe) that you will go through your day without showering, that’s fucking sick. What do you want – your own little private cabana?
I was really scared to shower in public when I was a kid, but once I first did, I realized that everyone was so scared to be caught even glancing at someone else’s junk that there was nothing to feel insecure about. With the amount of people who play football in America, I thought that people would be a little less uptight about showering in public. I know here, hockey players usually shower at the rink after playing.
That said, I understand that some people obviously are a little too free with their nakedness. Personally, I always cover up to and from the shower… I mean, I’m carrying my towel there regardless, so I might as well use it for something.
I still can’t believe how some of you are so bothered about male nudity that you would avoid the changeroom altogether.

Because people don’t want to look at guys like this, walking around naked.
It’s easier said than done to just look away…
(I even changed the size of the picture, just to be nice)
The nudity isn’t the part that bothers me, it’s the fact that gym lockerroom nudists will sit on the benches like that. I don’t ever wanna know if there’s two wet spots there. And forget me ever ever sitting on one of those benches. Yuck.
You want to hear a good story? Do a search for an old thread titled “naked man” (I believe) under my name.
Ive got a forty something bastard who is hung like a mule that wanders around my gym.
Problem is, I workout at home.

rolls eyes Those fucking gays, always strutting around naked, rubbing their crotch on you, screwing each other in the locker rooms…
Its not the nakedness. Its how they behave whilst naked. I dont goto gymns, but ive been to change rooms near beaches and surf clubs aswell as public pools that have had similar old guys in them. Even outright hit on me. It would be something easy to shrug off if it wernt for the nakedness.
Ive seen homeless guys goto pools change rooms, shower, change, shave, brush teeth and spend alot of time naked soaking it up. Doesnt bother me because they are minding their own business. But if they directed their attention at me. Then we have a problem.
Anyone ever give these guys shit to their faces? Some of em i think would never come back. But then again. Who would want to fight an old naked guy.
where and what gym would this be?

Hilarious. I think any naked guy that misbehaves should be towel whipped by everyone in the changeroom. Problem is, these guys are drying their crack with their foot up on the counter because they don’t give a fuck what anybody thinks.
On a lighter note. A couple of times kids have approached me in the change room for a quarter to lock their locker. I usually say I don’t have one, because I don’t like the way they ask.
Last weekend, a kid needed a quarter, and offered to sing for it. Me and a couple of other guys all had quarters in our hands, right quick. And offered them to him NOT to sing.

Everytime I read a thread about this makes me glad I need glasses to see more then 4 feet in front of me.
After walking in wearing them once and seeing the horrors at the air dryer, I’ve stopped just wearing them to the gym at all. And well I guess I dont really need to see anything anyways. And really like most others have said I dont have an issue with the nudity, hell I gotta drop my towel to get the pants back up, its just there really is no reason why you cant at lest wrap your towel around the waist.
But really the one that bothers me is not that guy blow drying his balls or riding his towel, its the guy who comes out of the shower still dripping wet and stands right beside you naked while you change and trys to start up the conversation. And then gets pissy when told to shut the fuck up or put some pants on.
But on a tangent here, am I the only one who feels the need to wear sandals in the locker room/shower or sauna?

Dude, anyone not wearing sandals in that environment is either not too bright or illinformed (like the people surprised to find bacteria in public ice machines).
I used to be one of the naked men who you all hate so much (but now i train at home!). i never realised people were so bothered by it.
maybe its because my mum and dad were hipies, but nudity just has never been that big an issue.
