Naked Gym Guy!

What is the deal with these guys? I mean I shower at the gym from time to time and apart from being naked in the shower and the 4-5 seconds when I drop my towel to put on my boxers, I at least have my towel on. Come on, yesterday there was a guy who had one foot on the ground and the other on the counter top so that he could blow dry his balls WTF? Does he really do this at home?

The older and fatter equals less shame and more naked time in the locker room, they really should have two separate locker rooms. I’ve been in locker rooms my whole life through college and on so this is nothing new to me but at what point can you say hey GUY!!! Put on a f-ing towel.

Womens room is the same as in the older, fatter ones have the least amount of modesty.

But I have never seen any woman drying anything other than the hair on top of there head. I can’t imagine how gross it would be to see some guy drying his balls.

hear hear…and the blow drying the balls story is foul.

True dat, and I’ve unfortunately seen the exact same thing in my gym’s locker room. Fucking horrid.

Blow drying your balls in the gym locker room is bad etiquette? What if they’re really wet?

Unfortunately I have seen it all and I still can’t believe people behave like that.

Our gym has a rock climbing wall, pool etc. They host bday parties so we decided to have my sons there.

Anyway,picture this.

I have (11) 8 year old boys in the locker room getting dressed after swimming. This guy comes walking up to his locker butt naked, opens it up, and proceeds to stand there doing shit completely naked in front of a bunch of 8 year olds.

At first I was certain he had the decency to clothe himself but when it became clear he was not going to I said, “Hey, how about putting some pants on or something?”

He acted taken aback like it was some inconvenience to which I said, “who on earth stands around naked like that in front of a bunch of litlle boys? What’s the matter with you?”

He grabbed his stuff out of his locker and moved over an aisle still naked.

This probably trumps everything I have seen and I have seen ball drying, guys walking around bare assed, standing there shaving with their junk hangin out, etc. We even had a guy who went through this ritual at the end of the aisle standing on a towel facing out naked rubbing lotion all over his body.

Completely unbelievable.

WTF? I don’t understand, is that some crazy American thing? Why are you all so afraid of nakedness? That sounds perfectly normal to me, people are naked in locker rooms, get over it. It always makes me laugh how most foreign people act all strange when confronted with a naked body, take the exchange students here for example. We have unisex sauna without clothing all the time here and the foreigners have a hard time adjusting.

And seriously, if you’re 8 years old chances are you couldn’t give a flying fuck about some naked man.

If you feel so insecure about naked people I think you’ve caught the ghey. Or do you for some reason think the boys will be traumatized? I seriously hope your post was sarcasm and I just didn’t get it.

I’m sure I’d have a “hard time” as well but I think I would adjust. What country are you from exactly??? If those naked sauna women are hot and the job market is good I just might re-locate!

I hate it when the fat hairy men walk around naked in the locker room at my gym. it’s disgusting, it almost demotivates me.

Uhh, has nothing to do with being scared of nakedness or worrying about traumitization. It is about common decency.

If you are comfortable spending several minutes naked and not making any attempt to clothe yourself in front of a group of children, regarless of the venue, saying you have caught ‘the ghey’ is being polite.

I would say you need killing. But hey, that’s just me.

Naked is great if the person who’s naked is hot. Most people are more attractive with clothing.

You shouldnt have your man parts out around children…I dont know what you call them in your country but here we call them “child molesters.”

I just saw the same thing earlier this week. As I was leaving, this old dude comes out of the shower naked and into the lockers. wtf, he then stands naked in front of the tv listening to espn. These dudes have no shame.

Nobody in the men’s locker room is attractive to me, but, to each his own.

that pretty much sums up why i don’t go to a gym to train…

lol I made it a habbit of just taking off my coat and shirt upstairs in the weight training area just to skip the locker room hastle. I hated when I seen dudes come out of the shower naked. Sure its normal and we were all born naked but the hell with that. Then they want to speak to you when walking by. I don’t find it at all comforting to speak to a naked man. For god sakes put on your f-ing towel then keep your back turned as you put your clothes on!

Probably not. Then then again, he may do a better job washing his towels:

Doubt that.

Wow… I don’t even know how to respond to this. So a father who’s naked with his kids in sauna or some place similar is a child molester? And my father used to run around naked every time he was going to take a shower or something like that (ok I’ll admit it disturbed me a little, but mainly because I’d rather not watch a skinny fat old man wave his penis around when I’m eating). And kids see naked men all the time in swimming halls (not in the swimming area you fools, but in the showers and locker room) and there’s nothing weird about it.

This thread confuses the hell out of me, I mean I knew you guys were paranoid about nekkid men but this is beyond ridiculous. I understand that you’d prefer the old guys to dress but that’s really not something worth mentioning. Being naked is 100% natural and there’s nothing wrong with it, as long as it’s not in public (which locker rooms are not).

I’ve seen naked men around me all the time in locker rooms and saunas and it hasn’t negatively affected me at all. I always understood that it’s perfectly natural. When I’m at gym I always undress and walk naked to the shower area and that’s exactly what others do as well. I can’t be bothered to hide my body from others who are just like me.

Oh and I live in Finland. You should watch the Conan O’brien episode where he visits Finland. Made me laugh how he was in sauna and all the others were naked yet he was really uncomfortable with the whole situation. Silly man. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
