Hey guys, my buddy has been researching the many avenues for obtaining Testosterone Cypionate. He has a prescription from his doctor, and he has medical insurance, but the insurance is, as insurance is wont to be, of no use in this situation. More on that later.
He checked the pharmacies in our area, asking for pricing on the 10mL vials of Tcyp without insurance. Walgreens was $114, Longs was around $90, Sam’s was around $50 (but distant) so he checked at Costco. They said they could fill his prescription for $31.70. They did not have the vials in stock, but once they get his order they should be able to fill it within days.
This is good news for anyone who has a Costco membership and a prescription for Tcyp.
His trouble with the insurance company is that they will not pay for a pharmacy to fill a 10mL prescription of T because that would last him for several months. They will pay for prescriptions of the 1mL ampules with a $25 copay, and that lasts about a week, if I recall correctly. I have yet to ask if his insurance has a pharmacy by mail, which usually fills the larger prescriptions. Even if they do, I think it is worth the extra $6 every couple of months or so to avoid the hassle of dealing with getting your insurance company to properly fill your prescription by mail, praying they get it right and that you’re not stuck for several weeks awaiting a replacement vial because they sent you Tamifloxin or some such beeswax.
If you have insurance and a script for check to see if your insurance will cover the script under major medical…I pay nothing for my Test E, pins, and sharps containers…I even get alcohol pads free…no copay…All I pay for is the Doctor visits.

Who provides your pins? My doc has been telling me that no pharmacies carry pins larger than insulin needles, which she insists are too small for IM injections.

Many feel better injecting more that once a week and some are injecting with insulin needles every 2 or 3 days. 1/2" needles, injected into the front-outer quads (vastus lateralis)are deep enough for the small volumes of frequent injections if that area does not have much fat.
the best thing is that you don’t even need a membership to fill a presciption at costco because drugs are federally regulated. just tell them at the door you are going to fill a precription and they will let you in.

Same with Sam’s Club. You can also use Sam’s Optical without a membership FYI. Very cheap contacts.
My buddy got his Rx filled, and the news is not as good as we hoped. They were only able to give him three 1ml ampules, but they were able to get insurance to cover it, whereas the other pharmacies were not, so he got the six-week supply for about $18. Not bad, but not as good as we were originally led to believe.
