Coronavirus - What Happened?

I watched the beginning, I will comment later. Early he mostly agrees with the podcast.

All I did was type in the dudes name

ā€œDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, McCullough promoted misinformation and falsehoods about COVID-19, the COVID-19 vaccine, and COVID-19 treatmentsā€ comes up at the top

How long is the podcast? If it’s long, I’ll watch it in segments and break down the bullshit this guy is likely going to spew in detail

This isn’t a knock at you, but the sources you quote typically consist of serious anti vaxxees, conspiracy theories and misrepresented data… then you accuse others of being affiliated with the left wing version on qanon… but you are the one promoting what I and the vast majority consider to be conspiracy theories and false claims.

This isn’t a conspiracy. Look at the cases/hospitalisations in the UK over the past five days

Perhaps you didn’t get sick… but it’s so frustrating to hear this bullshit when I have relatives who either got very sick or died… and one of the dead ones was quite young, relatively healthy too…

Young is relative… late 50s…

Who is the vast majority. What is the vast majority? Even in US, UK and Germany there are about 1/3 unvaxxed population. Sure this is minority, but 2/3 is not vast majority. It is majority.

What is the vast majority, when I gave you 2 links to real life information of all the studies on ivermektin and hydroxicloroquine and both links show positive results for the drugs. So who is the vast majority? The corporate media spreading misinformation or government administration who spread mass misinformation? Why is Fauci for example labelled as :

Which is exactly what Faucci did. He spread MI’s information. Masks, slow the spread, no way vaccines can be made that early and these are only the talking points Fqucci can be labelled as misinformation spreader.

I am sorry for your loss. But imagine if they were letting doctors threat people, prescribe drugs and protocols. Perhaps few people could have been saved, perhaps not. The doctor from podcast had testified he could have saved 50 % of the deaths in November 2020. This year he testified he could have saved 85 %. This is a testimony you know. He is risking his freedom when he says that.

You’re manipulating statistics. The 1/3rd (more like 1/4th) largely consists of those who aren’t elligiable to get vaccinated… those below the age of twelve.

If you look at Aus (75% of population fully vaccinated), more than 90% of thise elligable are vaccinated

So no… your club isn’t the majority… not… even… close…

Look… you seem like a nice guy

So I’m going to drop this, I don’t want to argue with you.

Yes, there are. It was you who was quoting McCullough’s fake talking point ā€œthat we don’t have time to do RCTs because they require a lot of time and a lot of peopleā€ And all of the non-fraudulent ones show no benefit in taking the drug.

These two links you’ve posted - incidentally from the same people, I might add - include fraudulent studies (Elgazzar et al for example) that used outright made-up data (someone copy/pasted the same data for all patient records among other things) that skewed the results. Once you remove these ā€œmiraculousā€ fraudulent studies there’s no benefit for IVM.

The same goes for now forgotten HCQ in the second aggregation. In the Raoult study, despite the number sums across cohorts not adding up whenever a patient taking HCQ dies from Covid, the good doctor removed him from the data set altogether claiming that he ā€œstopped taking HCQā€ (well, technically correct) and therefore HCQ has shown an almost miraculous performance on Covid patients’ recovery because the actual HCQ-taking patient deaths were not counted.

What’s that expression that you like to use? Leave your bubble, wasn’t it? And even if we assume that both Guardian and Politico wage a war on straight white males and push the trans agenda, RFK Jr. himself admitted being vaccinated and accepting only vaccinated guests at his party. And blaming it on his wife, real alpha male stuff.

I don’t see him screaming ā€œdefamationā€ at those articles.

Says who? wiki and random blog posts? He states in the podcast he will debate anyone. Mentions there is a 2 million dollar prize. Sites research and studies that can be easily found. There are no crazy conspiracies mentioned.

And those search results are from google, which is following a narrative. Search his name on DuckDuckGo.

To the doors of perception…

That’s what I said. If you have an interest in a field of study that can only be gained in university, then obviously that’s where you need to go. And what expertise is lacking in this thread? We are not publishing papers here. We are discussing the political and social ramifications of bad policies by people, who also don’t have degrees or expertise in virology, that drastically affect our lives. Your appeal to authority is fallacious. We don’t need that ā€˜expertise’ to know that compelled behavior is evil and restrictions on civil liberties is always a bad thing.
Quite frankly, the actual disease is a secondary conversation.

And CNN, ABC, MSNBC, CBS, NYT, WaPo and every major conglomerate news outlet are all heavily biased. They are not only biased, they flat out lie. So pick your poison, because in the information age, it’s become really difficult to find accurate information about anything that is even potentially political.

And what makes you, precisely, the arbiter here? It’s awful convenient to call something you don’t agree with fraudulent but quote things you do agree with somehow legit? Why should anybody take your word for it? Who the fuck are you?

Wasn’t your sales pitch that these people lie it takes long to produce such studies. So it was proven indeed that it takes long? I want to make sure we got this right. Do they lie it takes long to make such studies?

Really? If you believe this you haven’t been paying attention. You haven’t noticed the goal posts move over and over again? ā€˜We need 60% to reach heard immunity.’ Then it became 70%, then 80%, it’s probably at 90% now if not 100%.

Here is a little excerpt from an interview with Mayor Bill Deblasio. I am certain you probably agree with him and do not notice how maniacal he is. But the people of NY who voted for this trash deserve every ounce.

ā€œYou know how you get on the same page? People have to lead. So look, I believe with enough leadership, enough mandates, we’re going to get a hell of a lot more people vaccinated. The more people vaccinated, the more we actually make the transition to a time when COVID is in the background, not the foreground. And we know these mandates work. And we know people respond – look, human beings are pretty predictable. If you say your paycheck depends on it, or your ability to enjoy life and go do the things you want to do, people will make the practical decision overwhelmingly. And they’ll go get vaccinated. But we aren’t pushing hard enough. We got to go farther.ā€

I reckon you agree with him?

Prescribing HCQ to covid patients with severe disease had a penchant for inducing QT prolongation, arrhythmia and… death…

So no, hydroxicloroquine shouldn’t be touted as a covid cure.

Don’t stop there, he becomes far more critical of some of the statements made in the JRE podcast.

Just like the removal of the jews, homosexuals and mentally challenged were removed from 1930s Germany

Just like the japanese were removed from the American society during 1940s

All for their protection

If you don’t learn from history, it will repeat itself

Yeah, I guess, dude. I am just having hard to find time and argue with video and comments. I am doing the winter cleaning prior to the holidays.

He touches on this to. How immediate treatment is required. They were not allowed.

Watch the interview

Hey, I watched the whole thing while cleaning. I don’t know who this guy is but I enjoyed his criticism. He uses some smear tactics and anecdotal experience to fight an anecdotal experience, but in general solid critique.

Both doctors agree on a lot of stuff. The one critiquing is mainly doing a critique where Peter goes being a conspirator. Which is fine for me. But both agree on the science in most of the science talk.

This doctor also criticises corporate media and government structure for misinformation and poor handling of Covid. So I will recommend watching him. Man, they agree on science. I loved the video.

Oh and the video maker is very pro vax, but anti vaccine mandate. Which is fine for me. His other main critique is on the vaccine talk. In general enjoyable and good. But I wouldn’t call the video disagreeable. They mostly agree on the majority of the talking points.
