I would oppose outlawing automobiles, even though people are hurt and killed in crashes. I donāt believe that means I fear such laws. The ones in fear would be the ones supporting such prohibition due to possible consequences.

To be fair I largely oppose mask mandates. Or at least think this should be unnecessary. If Trump hadnāt taken such a stance most of his followers would have got on board.
Somehow being safe during a pandemic became a partisan issue and it never needed it. It was a bad time to have a child in office. Any other President would have handled the political softball easily.
Now the whole wearing a mask in a gas station during a pandemic is the biggest hit to liberty in forever people are just being silly as usual. Like advocating for no speed limits or rules or any sort. Like I said fun stuff to discuss in free time on a bodybuilding board. But if they ever start libertopia sit back and watch how quickly they change that stance.

Can you think of a historical precedent for the mask thing? Not that precedent is everything. I mean the federal government has historical precedent for sending japs to camps, doesnt make it right or lawful. But honestly, I canāt think of any historical events that mirror the mask mandate, at the state level or otherwise.

Interestingly our ancestors probably handled this better than us in terms of not being snowflakes. And all while fighting a war, having uncomfortable masks, and probably not understanding anything about the science.
Of course the anti maskers in 2020 had to point out on Facebook after binging Netflix that they would definitely not be putting on mask in a gas station for 30 seconds.

Because you believe in utopia. Intelligent adults should be able to judge individual issues on their own merits. Thatās fair and Iām not saying Iām immune to what I said myself. But constantly going there eliminates the nuisances of talking about rules of society.
